"The house was a perfect getaway on our way back to Michigan! We stayed for 5 days, loved the view and the house! The younger children were entertained by the ping pong table and basketball hoop in the garage! We loved drinking coffee on the patio in the morning and drinking wine around the fire pit at night! "We spent a week in Asheville helping out with our son’s family move from Denver to Asheville. This stay was perfect for us. The home is comfortable, spacious and has a fabulous porch. The hosts were thoughtful and helpful. I highly recommend this home. The only tiny drawback might be the very steep road to the location which is why I gave it 4* for location. The gathering area with great room, dining cove and kitchen with eat at counter allowed us to share time together to talk and relax. "The house itself was well maintained and as described, but we did have a couple issues with our stay overall- a prior renter had a dog which left dog fur on the furniture and rugs, resulting in our clothes being covered in fur and my 1yr old daughter’s skin getting irritated as she is allergic to dogs.
