Bathroom had brown stains in the sinkand around plug hole Shower was moldy and dirty Bathroom door was broken on the bottom of the wood Bedroom floor had a massive stain in the middle of it The lift didnt work the whole weekend we were there and staff didnt care or help and we had a person with us with limited mobility We payed a premium to stay in a Hilton and the nova hotel was £200 cheaper with cleaner snd better rooms So disappointed with our stay for our corporate herbalife event Wpuld expect a refund it was so bad

Staff were lovely and very accommodating and the price seemed good but the room wasn’t particularly clean. Dust everywhere, stains on carpet, dirt and mould in bathroom and tomato sauce on tv remote. Room itself was spacious and facilities good, just let down a little. Breakfast had a good choice and service good but all the hot food (except sausages) was lukewarm at best.

No rooms with shower available so moved hotels and no offer to pay for taxi. Member of staff on duty was lovely and went out their way to try and help though. Expected more from the Hilton and had to pay out £35.00 in taxi fares.

Lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff. The room was modern and very comfortable. Only complaint was the distance from the stairs/lift to the room but that is only a minor downside.

Lovely place to stay over night!
I just enjoyed the stay at the hotel, all conditions provided. You basically have everything you need, all the comfort you’re looking for when travel.

Disappointing
For a Hilton I was disappointed. The shower had no hot water and when we raised it we were told somebody would have a look - they never did. As for parking… it took ages to get out of the car park as there was an event on at the stadium, and we were warned by reception that we may get a letter in the post with a fine but to mention we were guests at the hotel!!

Mixed Feelings
We stayed because we went to watch a football match, our first night was perfect as The Ardencote Bar was open, service was excellent and food was nice, staff excellent and friendly. After the match we tried to get in the Bar again but it was packed which is fair enough after a match had finished but the other Bar in the building closed and would not serve us, we went back to our room and showered and went back down an hour later as we wanted a drink, it was still busy but you could get to the Bar, then it kicked off as Coventry fans started fighting amongst themselves, we were asked for our safety to move in to reception and wait for them to close and reopen once they had cleaned up, again staff were excellent and we got a free drink. We went back in after an hour or so but then they closed up at 8pm so we had to go back to our room and order food in which was a shame, perhaps our fault slightly as we don’t like to eat too early. My only complaint if it is, is if you have a bar area in the Hotel next to reception please have it open for residents, even if there is only one member of staff on it won’t cost much to keep it open. Apart from that Room was excellent.

I was in a room just by a stairwell it was so loud the whole night every time the door shut through the night. My room was so far from the reception and nothing was mentioned to me if they had I would of told them its a struggle for me to walk that far with my bags.

I stayed 3 nights, the lift wasn’t working the whole weekend, walked up the 3 flights of stairs and my keycard wouldn’t work, had to go down, the man on reception didn’t seem bothered that I had to climb the stairs again, he just said, oh maybe your card key was next to your phone! No it wasn’t! The kettle was leaking too!

Room was nice and spacious, clean and comfortable. Room was far from reception and felt like I was walking for hours to get there. Also lift was out of order. Adding the distance from the carpark to the hotel we struggled as my wife has issues with her feet.

Pretty good, large rooms, good view of football pitch. A/C would not work in room, so quite warm, could not be fixed, so had to get reception to open sliding doors, Health & safety reasons, could only be opened 6 inches and locked in place.

The hotel was very dark, except for the reception area. Room window was smaller than a normal bathroom window...very dark room. Our room's floor was making noise when you just walk on it...feels like a cheap motel room. It's no way near to Hilton's standard.

Dont bother if in a wheelchair.
As a disabled traveller who had booked an accessible room I was shocked at what I found. Firstly the accessible rooms are approximately 200yrs away from the lifts. No PEEP was done on arrival either. Then the terrible design of the room didnt allow for my wheelchair to get past the bed to enable me to fully enter the room. I had to wait for house keeping to come and remove some furniture, to then move the bad to make the room at least somewhat accessible. To complete the farce the accessible room didnt even meet the minimum legal requirements in terms of space or having a pull cord by the bed. Also asked for a call back from the hotel manager which never came.

we booked 4 rooms in the hotel and none of the air condition units in the room worked, we were provided large tower fans that were really useless as it just circulated warm air. no option to open the window as they are fixed closed. the gym is also really underwhelming, cables didnt work, only cardio equipment and some smaller weights

Doubletree Hilton, Coventry review
Welcoming concierge after a long and stressful drive. He took the trouble to change my room so I was nearer people I knew without being asked. Room was fine. Only complaints are that the shower was scalding hot and I couldn't get it to to a cooler temperature so I had a bath instead. The lights were on all night in the car park that my room overlooked and that combined with the green floor height light meant the room was well lit when I like a dark room. So didn't sleep that well. Breakfast was good, what you would expect for a Hilton. Parking was taken care of too. So overall pretty good.
