Single room was lovely and clean and ensuite shower was just right and couldn't fault the room but - I had room 16 but had an drunk couple arguing next door in room 17 from 10pm, swearing, fighting, slamming doors, he chuck her out in the corridor and this went on till 2.30am didn't really get to sleep till 3am, which was quite disappointing really.

We were needing to stay overnight in the Coventry area after attending a family meeting. The property was just what we needed, out of town a few miles, the room was nicely furnished, with on suite toilet and shower. Room was spotless. Tea and coffee making facilities and free onside parking. Contact with the owner was via text and access to the property via code, room access via code and key safe. In case of difficulties there was a mobile contact number. I would certainly consider booking if we needed to find accommodation in the Coventry area in the future. It might be worth checking direct with Dakota Web site as may find slightly cheaper

Simple, clean and affordable
Simple, clean and everything you need to enjoy putting your head down for the night. I have a larger than usual car that just about fit down the side to the car park but thats my own fault. If i had to be really harsh the shower head and tv remote could of done with a clean however, i cant fault this place in truth and would come back again 100%. I received a text message with all the keycodes, no reception to mess about with. Room was clean and warm with spare pillows, towels, coffee etc. Thank you for a lovely stay

Clean and tidy. Didn't see anyone staff wise. Did speak on the phone as door was coded and needed to get code. Area seemed ok didnt spend much time around there. There is a car park round the back but if you have a normal sized car ok, but i have a van so no chance getting to the car park. There was 3 othere vans parked on the front was bit tight. We would stay again.

Good Value
Spotless. Simply but tastefully decorated room with very comfortable bed, small bathroom but with good shower. Self check-in was painless Not currently offering breakfast. Plenty of parking, but access to back car park might be difficult for larger cars, as evidenced by scrape marks on the walls, but parking in the front is possible. Good value for money – was quite impressed - would certainly use again if in the area.

Clean, only little cobweb down by kettle,nice selection of tea, coffee and a Galaxy hot chocolate etc.No real people at reception to get a key from or book a taxi, all done on the phone with a code. Which you have a phone that works, a signal..not all of us have smart phones.Noisy till 11.15pm. Then something came in and parked on gravel at 1.25 am.Bed not comfy though pillow was.

Really good stay at the Dakota👍
This was my 2nd stay at the Dakota. For the price, you cant go wrong. My single room was very clean. As before the self check-in procedure, general email comms and the itinerary were all good. I will definately use the Dakota again when im in the area, depending on availability.

Fab place!
The room was immaculate and had everything I needed. Niomi answered my call immediately when I couldn't figure out the door lock - my fault, I was very tired! The communication was excellent and it made a big difference to me. The whole building was clean and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

This property has some reasonably big rooms and some are very small. It’s clean. Comfortable and quiet. Staff is available when you need anything. Perfect

The dakota
The dakota is always clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable and you get a good night's sleep. Check in is easy, and the hotel feels secure despite it being self check in. Would recommend to stay here.

We found the self service booking in very easy. The room was small but had everything we needed and it was very clean. We felt that the Dakota represented excellent value for money and will definitely book here again.

Small and compact. A lesson in optimising space. A lot was right about the Dakota and would I stay there again? Yes I would. My only criticism was the mattress was slightly lumpy. But otherwise clean quiet and very good value.

Clean and cheap
Very clean and space efficient room. There’s no food on offer but there’s a good pub up the road. You’re going to be looking elsewhere for breakfast as the village shop has closed. I’m a taller person and discovered that my room had a shorter bed. Parking could be awkward as it’s a bit of a tight squeeze to the rear parking and not everyone parks kindly at the front.

Many workers & quite noisy
Location is okay but there is no shop across the road anymore as this is permanently closed. Walls are very thin can hear the person next door snoring all night. A lot of workers staying here at present. It was clean, free parking great Chinese next door. Not really somewhere to stay if you are holidaying. Okay for 1 person but too small for 2. Was clean and modern with tea/coffee and room was cleaned daily if you wanted it done. No do not disturb sign. Staff are friendly.

Fine for one night
The keys were accessed using a keysafe and you were emailed the combination. When we got there our keysafe had been left on the actual combination and so anyone could have taken our keys. The room had a white vertical blind which did not block out the bright security light which was on all night. The tv was so tiny and 6ft up the wall so nearly impossible to watch. Also it had no BBC channels! There was very little sound proofing so we were treated to several hours of extractor fan noises as our neighbour had clearly left the light on in their bathroom. On the positive side the room was very clean and warm and had free biscuits. Parking was fine although someone did tamper with my windscreen wipers in the carpark. Easy check in and fine for a one night stay.
