"Be sure to book ahead if you want to eat at the restaurant. Parking is out of premium. It’s a grand old place with a lot of history and close to a small village with a couple of restaurants which you should also reserve at. coaches full of seniors come here, so there’s a vibrant scene at the hotel bar"

"The ambiance of the property was fabulous. It is an old building and was charming. The main bed was comfortable BUT the futon's were actually chairs that folded out and they were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. There was no staff available. It was all contactless. The bar was the same no people. If you didn't have cell phone to use the QR code you could not get a drink. The breakfast if you didn't pay for it in advance was not available as expected. I found the place charming but unwelcoming. However the location was amazing."

"We stayed in the coach house room 2 and the only thing I would mention was that the four small lights on the ceiling flickered when they were on for a while. They were the ones which really lit up the room so I didn't like to turn them off. The centre light and bedside lights were a bit dim for reading, I found. Other than that there were no complaints at all."
