Talkeetna Hideaway Guesthouse

"This was a great simple stay that was perfect for our short overnight stay. The room was spacious and had two twin beds, perfect for me and my traveling buddy. This BNB type stay had a great layout and everything you will need to get ready for the day. I arrived really late in the day due to our adventures but the self check-in made it easy get in and to our room without any issue. There was a full kitchen with snacks, and great seating in the dining area and living spaces. The access to bathrooms and showers was great, there were several single showers along with a bathroom for all guests to have access when needed."

"The lodge is a really lovely facility perfect for viewing Denali and it’s peak when the weather is wonderful. There is a limited activities for younger people, but we did really appreciate the fire pit and the lovely s’mores kits that were available."

"We had a great stay. Everything was within walking distance, and the cabin was very comfortable. Shannon even met us at the train station and gave us a ride to the cabin. Truly a cozy cabin with a comfy bed, good blackout shades, hot shower, sink and microwave."

"The hosts were very responsive to all my questions. Even before traveling we were in cabin six and it is a beautiful gorgeous view cabin. I knew it was a mountain view cabin but I did not know that the mountains are something I can view from my cabin deck. I could view Mount McKinley and the other two mountains really clearly right from my cabin deck and my window so it was one of the best views we had, even as compared to Denali National Park when we were there. It's a gorgeous cabin. I'd highly recommend people who love views to pick this cabin and stay. The cabin inside is a little older but they've kept it very clean and nice. For us to stay one night with my family was very comfortable. I would recommend people to stay here. The host also offers breakfast in the morning, a light continental breakfast that also worked great for us. The only thing is that it is around five miles away from the main Talkeetna downtown. We had a car so it did not matter to us but if you did not have a car then reaching downtown for any food would be difficult."
