"It's a room above a bar so it comes with all that is expected. And a little pricey considering the shared bathroom. But honestly a great time. If a good old fashioned adventure is what you're after, this is the place to be. Close to everything donwtown. Just be aware, it is what it says on the tin....but the earplugs do help a LOT if you want to sleep before the bar closes. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Talkeetna at the Marlin House. It was the perfect Valentine’s Day getaway from the big city. The cabin was easy to locate. It was clean and cozy and warm! Communicating with the host was great! We will definitely book there again and recommend the Marlin House to visitors from the lower 48. Thank you! "
