Fantastic Retreat Getaway
We booked this place for us to stay during the total solar eclispe. The place is fantastic! Beautifully well done. The property is stunning and truly relaxing. The hosts are unbelievably hospitable. Our time at this location for the total solar eclispe provided us with one of the BEST days of our lives from sunrise to sunset. We are truly grateful we came across this wonderful home. I don't know if we will ever be back to Indiana but boy do we have a SUPER good impression and if the opportunity rose again, we would stay at this place in a hot minute. Thank you again for everything.

Excellent Cabin!
Ronnie is a wonderful host. He greeted my family in the driveway and made us feel very welcome. The cabin is top notch with a first rate kitchen and spacious layout. The surrounding area is quiet rolling countryside. This is a beautiful and safe place to stay when traveling with kids. We will be back.

Perfect weekend getaway
Listing was as shown. Property owner was very helpful and easily accessible both before and during our stay - it is their residence you’re staying at - a beautiful apartment above the garage. It was our first time boating at Lake Monroe and the owner provided helpful tips about launching the boat and even gave us a boat pass so we didn’t have to pay at the Four Winns Marina where we ultimately decided to put the boat in. We were able to keep our boat at the residence as well which was helpful. Our 13 yr old loved the cat, Earl who he finally saw and played with our final day. It was a highlight. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property.

Our stay was awesome! Amazing property, great hosts, and perfect location!
Perfect amount of space for relaxing in a peaceful setting. This was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed and had all the amenities of home. The host went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer any questions we had. Far enough from campus that you can get away but close enough to take advantage of all that downtown Bloomington and the surrounding area has to offer. Quick trip to Nashville and other towns. We will definitely stay again. Thanks!

PERFECT STAYCATION
We spent 5 days celebrating my birthday with our two small dogs at this beautiful cabin. We honestly loved everything about it. We brought all of our groceries and cooked every meal in the beautiful kitchen, drank coffee on the covered patio, and watched a million movies. I highly highly recommend and we will definitely be going back! My one hiccup during the stay was the internet connection on large group zoom calls when I had to check in with my team-- it did lag a little and was a little echo-y but that is why you should not work on your vacation! Stay here! You won't regret it!

Lovely, but not a "cabin"
We chose this VRBO as a place to relocate and get work done during the pandemic. It was listed as a "cabin" but it actually an above-garage apartment. It is beautifully decorated - and built using charming, quality design. But it's simply not a cabin. You're above the garage, and the owners leave early for work. That means your bed is right over the garage door openers and can hear/feel them through the floor. Also, the wifi is not great and only seems to work reliably in a portion of the apartment. That's may not be important to everyone, but we couldn't ultimately get work done and left early. In fairness, I did not specifically ask about the wifi before we booked. Lesson learned.

Amazing Weekend Getaway
We came for Labor Day Weekend to spend some time at Lake Monroe and hike. This was the perfect for location! The guest house was very nice, incredibly clean and comfortable. It was just enough space for the 3 of us. The kitchen has enough to cook meals, the grill was a little temperamental but we got it working, and we enjoyed dining on the covered deck. The host was friendly and even hooked us up with a pass to get free parking at the local recreation areas. This was a great way to finish off summer in this crazy social distancing year. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful setting!
There was much to like! I thought the place was so clean and neat. I loved the bed, sheets, and mattress and the whole place was comfortable! Sitting on the deck and taking walks was scenic and we saw many deers! I would have liked more cooking tools and instructions on how things work but I would definitely stay there again!

This place is stunning. Every detail was incredible. A 5 star rating was easy to give. If I had to nitpick, we went on a 90° weekend and the air didn’t get cool enough for us (never went below 70°).

Don’t let the fact that it’s above a garage keep you from staying here!!! It’s a top-notch place to stay. The place is very clean and beautiful. With the back entrance, you forget that you are above a garage. It’s very private. I would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing post holiday get-a-way with just me and my husband!!! Holidays were amazing, but we were ready for some "couple" down time...and that is just what we had! A few days out and about and time just spent in jammies, eats and movies. It was a much needed R & R time...not to mention the beautiful accommodations!!! Well worth the time and money spent! Will definitely keep this location in mind for future trips.

Wonderful Stay
The cabin had everything we would have needed. There are many options if you want to hike, do a little wine tasting or shopping. We traveled to Nashville which was about a 30 minute drive and spent time in Bloomington which was about a 15 minute drive. Thank you for sharing the cabin with us. It was beautifully decorated and so comfortable.

Beautifully designed apartment
The apartment is located above the garage of the owner's home. It was very clean, cozy and very well decorated with high end finishes and appliances. The owner had a bottle of wine for us and coffee for the morning which was a nice touch. The home is located on a road outside a small subdivision about a 30 minute drive to Brown County park and Monroe Lake and McCormick's state park. It was a perfect getaway for a long weekend. The owner was friendly and hospitable. He offered us a pass to get into the state parks which was very appreciated. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Beautiful cabin for couple getaway.
Very clean whitewashed one bedroom cabin apartment located back of main house. Private with all the amenities. Owner Ron was very friendly and helpful. The fall colors were beautiful and loved the deer that visited us in the morning. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Short drive to IU campus, Lake Monroe and Brown County.

This get-away is delightful! Everything is immaculately clean, modern and exceptionally comfortable. Coming from the city, my husband and I soaked up a sweet peace sitting on the deck-'Yet the cabin is close to everything. We would highly recommend it.
