"The property was very nice but could use some attention to the dust on all things.awesome memorabilia of Hank Williams. The floors upstairs move at the end of the twin bed and go down hill a bit in the bathroom. Did contact the cleaning lady when we left to let her know that the washer insides fall apart when you wash clothes. Overall would stay again as it was peaceful and could hear the stream outside and that was nice."

"First, let me say that the pictures do not really show how nice this house really is! It is a beautiful home perfect for that mountain getaway! We had a great time at our teacher retreat enjoying all of this space. The view is absolutely amazing! Getting there is a bit of an adventure (very narrow and winding roads and a very sharp turn on the road that leads to the home) as you are truly in the mountains away from it all, but the town of Black Mountain is not far. There was plenty of space...

"Pros: great location, excellent value for size of property, fun family atmosphere with arcade, hot tub, and fireplace. Cons: narrow roads, driveway has steep incline (commom in this mountain area), property is dated but functional, no shower head with king bed room ( tub only) overall great choice for budget minded."

"The home was in a quiet location and was very clean. Close to everything but off the beaten path. The owner answered my questions in a timely manner. Great for a couple, family, or two couples. So glad we stayed here vs. downtown Gatlinburg. Easy to get to the NP, hiking, sightseeing and dining. Enjoyed ourselves!"

"We enjoyed our stay in your chalet. The views are stunning! The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking. The beds were all comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were clean with ample towels. This was a first for us to stay in the west part of Gatlinburg. It is an easy access to the park."

"This was a nice place and accommodated our family well. We were not prepared for the crazy drive up the mountain though. We had a full size van and barely made it up and down the mountain because of the steep grade and hairpin turns.. We had to rent a second, smaller vehicle in order to make the drive. We saw bears in our yard almost every day so that was quite the thrill. Our grandkids loved it."

"This cabin was perfect for my family. Spacious, clean, 2 full baths and quiet! It is located just off the parkway which was very convenient. The host was great to work with also. He sent an email beforehand to let us know that the national park now requires a parking permit, which was very helpful and appreciated. We would definitely stay here again."

"Our cabin was perfect for two people & it had everything we needed. It was decorated beautifully & the bed was very comfortable. Our location was great. If you are looking for a cabin with an outdoor space to hang out, this isn't the cabin for you. But, if you will be out & about all day & evening & just need a place to cook a couple meals & sleep it is great."
