"The ship is unique because of its position in mevagissey. The room was not spacious but adequate for our needs.
In the bathroom was a fairly new shower which was great apart from there was no place to put your soap or shampoo.
The breakfast was cooked to order and like the evening meals were excellent.
The pub has been taken over by a lovely couple called Alex and Noah and along with their attentive staff I believe they will make it a great success"

"Amazing setting and beautifully kitted out rooms.
Breakfast was lovely (though buffet elements could have been topped up as we went in the last half hour so some things were running low, including plates!).
Loved the bar - fab cocktails - and the restaurant, though was very pricey."
Keepers Cottage - sleeps 2 adults, 2 children and your dogs
8/10 Good
"Great check in experience, I assumed it would be open and whilst on route had a message to say it would be open. Wasn’t find, well signposted. Perfect size for myself and two kids, bedrooms downstairs which made for ease when bringing bags in and out. Had a wet day at the beach and the wood burner was very welcome to come home to!Only downside was the working farm making an early alarm call, but made up for it in the very reasonably priced accommodation in a beautiful part of the county. Designated dog walking area with bin too."
"The room was spotlessly clean with everything that you could need. Large bathroom, fridge and complimentary tea, coffee and extra treats like homemade cake.
The breakfast was outstanding and beautifully presented. There was excellent choice and the homemade bread, honey and yogurt was superb.
The hosts were fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable, helping with suggestions of the best places to eat, visit etc.
Beautifully quiet location. Perfect.
We will be back. Looking to book one of their holiday cottages for a longer stay next time."
"Higher Hendra is a beautiful farm with many cottages in a great location near Port Isaac. Our stay in Hendra Barn was very enjoyable and we loved the ease of check in and the amenities upon check in, like dishwasher tablets and biscuits, which were a nice touch. The surroundings are tranquil and lovely with an amazing sunset on clear evenings.A few things I should mention, the place in its entirety is much smaller than expected. The double bed is too small for tall or larger people so be mindful when booking. I also found the mattresses/pillows very uncomfortable. The floors were quite gritty and felt quickly passed over so we had to do the downstairs bedroom floors again once we unpacked. The fridge and freezer are inside a closet next to the kitchen with the fridge set on the ground so if u have bad knees bending down to get your things can get quite cumbersome. Kitchen has everything it needs but it does feel very hot on warmer days with just a tiny fan to help. The plumbing for all drains/toilets upon arrival needed unclogging which the hosts helped with pretty soon after and when it happened again during the week they responded quickly as well. Mind we weren’t there during the day all that much so not sure why the plumbing was so sensitive. If you’re a star gazer the flood light in the parking lot is rather annoying but we did it anyways. Overall we found the hosts to be very helpful and kind, especially the grandad and his grandson who welcome you warmly!"
Peaceful Rural Retreat, Ideal Base To Explore Cornwall
10/10 Excellent
"Delightful accommodation in a quiet and peaceful setting. Plenty to entertain round and about with many places of interest both on the coast and inland easily accessible but a huge selection of books and DVDs were provided for indoor amusement too. The thoughtful provision of fresh milk for tea on arrival was much appreciated, as were the scones and clotted cream."

"Property was great Christine was helpful and prompt when replying to any emails.Pub few steps away food was great.Cafe for breakfast was too busy for us to try, the person serving was not pleasant at all.Sea View farm with restaurant about 5/10 mins drive away was great for breakfast."
Spacious farmhouse with large childrens play area and fabulous family kitchen.
10/10 Excellent
"7 of us including a well behaved dog spent 6 amazing days exploring the area. The farmhouse was a fantastic base. So well equipped we cooked every night. The kitchen is huge. We walked every evening following the footpath and found breathtaking sea views. The kids made the most of the outdoor space. It was safe & secure. The road was a tad busy but once inside the property it didn’t bother us we heard the birds more than the cars.Super comfy beds which is always a bonus. One thing which would make it even better would be an electric car charger! We will be back x"
