Orchard Mews is a lovely holiday cottage in the village of Barnham in West Sussex positioned just a few minutes from Chichester, Fontwell and Goodwood and with the historic and beautiful town of Arundel (an absolute must to visit during your stay) just a short distance.

This clean and comfortable house has been thoughtfully prepared for guests offering everything you need to comfortably self-cater for your stay. The kitchen includes kettle, cafetiere, cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and toaster.

The house comfortably sleeps 4 people across two double bedrooms (one with king), both bedrooms have a TV with a bathroom and a separate WC. On the ground floor there is a living room and dining room area with seating for four and a conservatory with additional seating.
Barnham sits at the centre of the famous ‘Six Villages’ in West Sussex and has with its own distinct character and ‘olde worlde’ appeal.

The Six Villages (Barnham, Eastergate, Westergate, Walberton, Fontwell and Yapton) all benefit from being relatively close to London but also to some excellent local beaches and the South Downs National Park. So if you holiday in Barnham you will find yourself conveniently placed to enjoy the best of the sea, town, village and country life. You don’t even need a car to go exploring, as the local Barnham Train Station offers fast and easy access to Bognor Regis, Brighton, Chichester, London Victoria, Portsmouth and Southampton. The village has its own iconic building in the form of a Grade II Listed windmill, which is now a private residence. The neighbouring Windmill Shopping Village is packed with independent shops, workshops and a tearoom. There’s a real “olde worlde” pub (The Murrell Arms), a choice of shops including a post office and a Co-Op so if you are planning a quiet getaway you will find everything you need in the village itself.

5 great days in Barnham...... plus sunshine !

Lovely clean and comfortable home from home. Very good quality in every aspect. Great to enjoy the conservatory and small garden also. Good central location, and surprisingly quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay here, and hope to stay again.

Lovely week spent at Orchard Mews

The house was clean and spacious, comfortable and quiet, and very well equipped, and our host Lorna was very kind and accommodating. Being quite central, we also found that the location was great for touring around West Sussex. A very lovely week has been spent there.

Hemos estado (una pareja con nuestras dos hijas de 20 y 23) la primera semana de agosto de este año en la casa de Orchard Mews en Barnham, Bognor Regis UK y la experiencia no ha podido ser mejor. La casa está realmente limpia, ordenada y muy bien equipada, da gusto pasar una semana en una casa así. Tiene un pequeño jardín/terraza en la parte trasera de la casa y una pequeña estancia acristalada que se hacen muy acogedoras. Tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar de muy buen tiempo y visitamos los alrededores (Arundel, Chichester, Oxfford, Bath...). Muy recomendable. Los dueños (coincidimos el día de nuestra partida), encantadores. Patricio Aguirre

Lovely house in a peaceful neighborhood

The house is very clean throughout and the kitchen is adequately equipped with everything we needed. It's has a lovely garden and conservatory. The neighbors were friendly. Would come back again.

Lovely clean comfortable house in a great location with thoughtful touches by the owners

We stayed at Orchard Mews for more than a week and had a fabulous stay. The house is well located for exploring Sussex and Hampshire. It was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully clean with a lovely garden space. The owners have put a lot of thought into making it inviting with various thoughtful touches. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will return again if we are in the area. The lower grading on customer service is because we ran into some issues with the letting agent --it has nothing to do with the owners who were lovely and very responsive.
