What a quaint boutique hotel in a very convenient location, about a seven minute walk from Victoria station. It was easy to get to everything we wanted to see in London. My husband and I stayed in a triple room with our adult daughter. The room was small, but clean and they provided maid service daily. The bathroom was clean with a nice shower and they provided shampoo, body wash and soap. They also provided flat and sparkling water and snacks in the room at no additional charge. The breakfast offered a good variety, including breads, bagels, croissants, meats, and cheeses, yogurt, muffins, and cereal and also had a very nice cappuccino/mocha machine, as well as apple juice and orange juice. We were in London during a heat wave and our room had good AC. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They held our luggage the day we got there until we were able to check in and held it again on our last day after checkout, until we needed to leave for our train. Just be aware there are no elevators and our room was on the third floor. One of the employees helped bring our luggage up to our room. Overall, we had a very nice stay, I thought the hotel was a good value for the price and would highly recommend this if you’re looking to stay in the area.

Great stay in a great location!

Location was great and lobby was welcoming. The room was a bit dusty which you could really notice in the sun. Breakfast was good but they need to work on the set up. No teapots at breakfast - not great Milk not near the tea (no one wants hot milk in a cup of tea) No English breakfast tea by tea station I asked each morning and each morning was pointed to another room to go fetch myself. I know they’re small things but it’s frustrating when there is a LOT of staff at breakfast but just being annoying. They took our plates from under us when we were still eating and one persons job is to wipe all the crumbs on the floor and then another person comes along and brushes it up. It’s a bit chaotic and doesn’t really need to be. It makes the morning stressful again when it doesn’t need to be. The butter is no where near the toast The set up means people are walking backwards and forwards and don’t really need to.

Staff was friendly & efficient. At check-in I was informed that the room would not be cleaned for a 2-night stay which I thought was a bit odd - it should have been presented in a different way as a question. The food & service at the restaurant was excellent. The main glitch was AC did not work properly first night & I woke up sweating. They fixed it next day. At those nightly rates, it would have been appropriate to issue a credit for the AC issue & I told them so at the front desk. It did not appear at checkout, so I will not return. It's the small details that make the difference
