Breakfast was delicious and the best we had while touring Central Europe. Since we started our vacation in this area, we guessed it would be hard to beat during the rest of our trip. We were right. This hotel has one of the best breakfasts. The hotel was very clean and our room was nice. The restaurants, etc. outside the hotel were okay, and the location is convenient to Bonn and Koblenz (where we went next).

Nice but the shower really let it down.

Overall, it's a nice hotel with modern rooms. It's clean and the breakfast was very nice. The location is good with plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The only complaint is the shower which failed to hold a constant temperature throughout the stay. It does not have a thermostatic controller, which usually is not an issue, but in this instance it would swing from dangerously hot to freezing cold, possibly due to other guests using their showers. A good shower is a basic requirement and I feel the hotel has let itself down here by not putting in a good working shower as part of the renovation and upgrade.

I stayed for 15 days. I loved the area, lots of options for food, shopping, groceries, ice cream, walking distance to all bus routes, underground, and international trains. A beautiful park nearby, and lots of activities in the square by the hotel entrance at weekends. Highly recommended.

Phantastisches Hotel mit einem wahnsinnig gutem Frühstückbuffet. Röstis, Bratkartoffeln, Sekt und die Option, sich selber einen frischen Gemüsesaft zu pressen ist in dieser Kategorie schon außergewöhnlich. In unserem Badezimmer hatten wir sogar eine Rainfalldausche. Absolut empfehlenswert. Leider sind nur sehr wenige Parkplätze direkt vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellt. Und der (gut gewartete) Aufzug aus dem Baujahr 1955 ist nichts für Klaustrophobiker.
