Lovely spacious house overlooking the Mediterranean. Very private with ample gated parking. Spectacular sunsets enjoyed around beautiful infinity pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host Anna and Irina were very accommodating.

The Villa was perfect! Great location, clean and comfortable. Emma was a gem and we hired her to make a few meals (which were delicious) and to clean and change the linens. Would definitely return to Villa Ghia. Thank you!

Sehr schöne grosse Villa in traumhafter Lage

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Familienurlaub verbracht mit 6 Erwachsenen. Die Zimmeraufteilung ist optimal, jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und Toilette, in zwei Zimmern gibt es sogar zusätzlich einen Whirlpool. Die Kueche ist ganz neu. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft, es gibt mehrere Sitzplaetze ums Haus verteilt, Meerblick hat man ueberall. Der Pool ist schön und gross, ebenfalls mit Meerblick, sogar im Pool beim Schwimmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Un piccolo angolo di paradiso

Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni alla Villa Gaia in compagnia di amici. Location favolosa a pochi minuti dal centro di Bordighera e con una vista mozzafiato sul mare. Struttura comoda e spaziosa, esterni ben curati e accoglienti. Cordialità e professionalità da parte della proprietaria, che ha risposto prontamente ad ogni nostra richiesta. Consigliamo vivamente!

kleine "Überraschung"...

Unser jährliches Familientreffen, 6-8 Erwachsene und Familienhunde, haben wir dieses Jahr in der Villa Gaia verbracht. Das Haus ist teilrenoviert: die oberen 2 Schlaf- und Badezimmer sind neu gemacht, der Rest des Hauses ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte Auffrischung gebrauchen: besonders die Küche ist alt und alles wirkt etwas zusammengewürfelt. Das Haupthaus hat 3 Schlaf- und Badezimmer, und es gibt ein Appartement mit 3 Schlafplätzen ( allerdings 3Betten in einem Zimmer) im Anbau. Dieser Anbau ist eine separate Wohneinheit mit eigenem Eingang und wird durch eine Pforte vom Haupthaus getrennt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und das Grundstück gepflegt. 1x die Woche kommt eine Reinigungskraft, um die Betten frisch zu beziehen und um eine Grundreinigung zu machen, ebenso wie ein Gärtner, der den Rasen mäht und mit dem Laubbläser umherläuft. Die Grünfläche ist sehr klein und sieht auf den Bildern viel größer aus - tatsächlich aber ist der meiste Teil des großen Grundstücks versiegelt oder mit Kieselsteinen belegt. Zum Pool geht es mehrere, z.T. steile Treppen nach unten auf eine andere Ebene, was zu bedenken ist, wenn man mit Personen mit körperlichem Handicap reist. Die Gastgeberin Anna haben wir nicht kennengelernt, aber wir hatten reibungslosen Kontakt über WhatsApp und konnten mit allen Anliegen zu ihr kommen, ebenso hat sie viele Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge gegeben. Da wir mit mehreren Hunden angereist sind, war es für uns ok, dass das Haus "in die Jahre" gekommen ist, aber ich denke, dass es für diesen Preis auch Häuser gibt, die "aufgemöbelter" sind. Der Weg runter in die Stadt ist recht weit und es gibt keinen Fußweg und keinen Bus - das Auto muss also immer genommen werden - die Aussicht ist einfach spektakulär, man kann bis nach Monaco gucken - der View vom Pool ist genauso wie auf den Bildern. Die "Überraschung" liegt darin, dass es eine Einliegerwohnung gibt, die ihren Eingang und Terrasse in Richtung Pool hat. In dieser Einliegerwohnung wohnt Daniel, ein Mann, der Freitags den Garten macht und sich um den Pool kümmern soll (Anna) - an sich ist das ok, aber wir wussten das nicht, und entsprechend überrascht waren wir, dass sich ein fremder Mann auf dem Grundstück und in der EL-WHG aufhielt - Daniel ist sehr ruhig und zurückhaltend und an den Wochentagen auch bis abends außer Haus, trotzdem hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst, dass jemand dort fest wohnt.... alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt ok, besonders der Pool mit View

Nice Stay in Bordighera

Nice property with an absolutely amazing view. Property is clean and well equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable. Outdoor areas are great. Location is a bit of a challenge in that the road leading to the house is steep and very windy. Walking to town is "possible" but it's a long way. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Wir habe die Woche in unserem Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Sowohl unsere Gastgeberin Anna als auch die Housekeeperin Irina sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Danke schön. Die Aussicht ist sowohl am Tage als auch am Abend wunderschön. Der Pool ist toll und das Haus lies auch kaum Wünsche übrig. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Villa in wunderschöner Lage

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem Haus. Die Kommunikation mit Anna war ganz unkompliziert. Die traumhafte Lage. Der schöne Pool. Der schöne Badeort Bordighera. Die komplette Zwischenreinigung des Hauses am Mittwoch. Der gepflegte Garten. Das hat uns sehr gefallen! Es ist genug Platz im Haus. Zwei Schlafzimmer mit Bad oben und ein Schlafzimmer mit Bad im EG, wo auch Küche und Wohnzimmer sind. Vor dem Haus die Terrasse und nach ein paar Treppenstufen abwärts der Pool. Das Haus ist gepflegt, allerdings ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Es wurde/wird offenbar zu anderen Zeiten auch als B&B genutzt. Wir haben uns jedenfalls wohlgefühlt.

Das Haus und der Pool sind wunderschön.

Das Haus ist super. Leider ist das 4. Schlafzimmer separat. Der Pool und die Aussicht von dort entschädigt für alles. Nach Bordighera kann man nicht zu Fuß gehen. Mit dem Auto dauert es trotz weniger Kilometer 5-10 Minuten. Wir haben uns einmal bekochen lassen. Das war sehr gut. Sollte man wirklich machen.

Les plus : - Idéal pour des vacances à plusieurs familles. Personnes ne se marchent dessus. - une vue superbe - la piscine est top - les tomates du jardin fraîchement cueilli qu’Emma nous apporte le matin ainsi que les confitures faites maison - pouvoir garer ses voitures dans la propriété - frigo un peu petit - Manque Quelques plats, récipient, couverts (couteau qui coupe) Nous vous conseillons vivement de louer cette villa.

Eine Woche Urlaub pur. Herrliches Haus in gigantischer Lage!

Das Haus liegt traumhaft schön mit Blick, auf das Meer/Bucht und bietet im und ums Haus herrliche Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen. Wir reisten mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern und deren Freunden. Zudem haben wir uns einmal von der Hausbetreuerin bekochen lassen. So leckere mediterane Küche aus eigener Herstellung. Können wir nur empfehlen. Der Pool ist groß und wir sehr sauber gehalten. Ein traumhafter Blick direkt aus dem Wasser auf das Meer. Wir hatten auch unseren Familienhund dabei, der den Aufenthalt auch sehr genossen hat. Super waren auch die Klimaanlagen in jedem Schlafzimmer. Können das Ob jekt nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Fabulous holiday in fabulous VILLA Bordigera

Just had the most amazing time at Villa Gaia with my family. The villa offers spacious living areas and bedrooms with beautiful outdoor spaces to sit and relax and admire the fantastic views. The large sized swimming pool overlooks Bordigera and away to right Monte Carlo Bay and mountains in the background. We have stayed in a few villas but this had the charm and peacefulness of a typical Italian Villa and was by far the best. Emma onsite Manager was very helpful even took me to supermarket on first day, cooked us delicious meals and drove us to train station. A car is needed (we used daughters car) to go to beach etc. Bordigera is a lovely charming town with a lovely promenade providing great restaurants and a lively atmosphere. We would certainly return to the Villa again. We loved every bit if it.

Erholung pur!

Wir waren im Juli 2019 zu fünft und einem Hund in der herrlich gelegenen Villa Gaia. Wir wurden von Emma herzlich empfangen und während der Woche stets zuvorkommend betreut. Sie hat uns sogar ein Brot gebacken und zwischendurch haben wir Tomaten/Gurken aus dem Garten erhalten! Die Lage ist einerseits wunderschön, mit herrlichem Ausblick auf das Meer und Bordighera. Andererseits benötigt man für den Einkauf ein Auto (ca. 10 Fahrminuten, lasst euch vom Foto nicht täuschen). Die Zimmer der Villa Gaia sind mit Klimageräten ausgerüstet. Die Küche ist schon etwas älter aber durchaus zweckmässig eingerichtet und sauber. Der Garten bietet viel Platz und ist schön gestaltet. Die Poolanlage ist über eine Treppe, eine Etage tiefer zu erreichen. Auch das Gartencheminée ist in diesem Bereich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Objekt weiterempfehlen! Besten Dank an Emma und Anna für die herzliche Betreuung.

Four Days in Bordighera

This property was as advertised. Anna was easy to work with and Emma (on-site manager) was great. We communicated with Emma through a translation app as our Italian was basic. Inside was very nice, but the outdoor space is the best feature. Great pool and loungers made viewing the sunsets fantastic. Used the outdoor grill several nights and just enjoyed the view.

Ein wunderschöner Blick auf das Meer

Wir waren im Juli 2017 in dieser Villa, 12 Personen. Der Empfang durch die Vermieterin war sehr nett. Das Haus liegt über der Stadt, in einer sehr gewinkelten und steiler Strasse, der Blick aufs Meer war das aber Wert. Die Zimmer sind sehr nett eingerichtet, die Klimaanlage funktionierte sehr gut, in der Anliegerwonung gab es leider keine Klima, aber das wird sich bestimmt bald ändern. Die Küche ist ein wenig älter, das Geschirr und das Besteck waren auch ein wenig zu alt und bund zusammengewürfelt. Der Pool ist wunderschön, Am Garten hinter dem Haus wird noch gearbeitet, das kann man noch nicht geniessen, aber vor dem Haus und am Pool ist es sehr gemütlich. Der Feigenbaum und der Grill sind neben dem Pool. Wir haben den Aufenhalt sehr genossen und bedanken uns für die nette Betreuung.
