Fabulous luxury retreat
We enjoyed our stay at this luxurious SPA/Conference hotel. We thought that we’d go for a swim in the hotel pool, but found out that it cost €50 per person for access to the SPA area even if just going for a dip in the pool so we ended up not going. Great hotel if money is just something you have 😉

We enjoyed the stay at Comwell. The breakfast was very good. the room/bed/bathroom was very comfortable. We were at a show till late and it was nice to be able to get into our room very late with no issues.

Great views on the fjord
My second visit at this hotel. The room was definitely spacious and comfortable, but I noticed that like in many Scandinavian hotels, the supply of towels is rather limited. This time I tried the brasserie, and while I was not disappointed by the excellent service, I found the menu quite limited. Good jogging routes

Typical Scandinavian hotel in historic building
The hotel is in the outskirts of the town of Vejle, with no easy connections with public transport. The building is arena waited former sanatorium/asylum, with a typical Scandinavian decor. There is a very nice spa with outdoor hot tubs. The restaurant is good, but with a very selected menu, there is also a brasserie for more easy going dining.Typical Scandinavian hotel in historic building. The rooms are spacious, and some have a very nice view on the fjord

Great hotel - but stay clear of waterfront rooms
Had a suite with a view of the water and a balcony. The suite (room 200) was right above the outdoor hot tub which guests are allowed to use until midnight. And they do! It's was a very noisy location (people talk very loud to drown out the motor in hot tub) and in the end I had to move to a different suite (room 500) which shares a wall with a noisy lift and is right above the outdoor seating for the restaurant. Apart from that I had a great stay. The hotel is beautiful, the sourroundings are great for walks, Vejle is 15 minutes' drive away, the food is great and the staff is very friendly and service minded. I will visit again for sure, but next time I will stay clear of the suites facing the water!

Five Star Hotel!!!
Great hotel, we used the spa during our stay which is fantastic, we had lunch which was delicious and an evening meal which was fantastic. The hotel, bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Our loft room was absolutely gorgeous, so comfortable, clean and cosy, the bathroom was great and they have bath oil and candles. You can walk to the marina in 10min which is also beautiful. I did not want to leave and will definitely go back.

Great hotel - informal restaurant missing though
Beautiful location close to the water. The room was spacious and very homely. Only thing missing at this hotel is an inexpensive and informal place to eat at the hotel. There are two restaurants in the hotel, both excessively espensive and the food is not at a stardard to justify the steep prices.

Hotel situated on a building site.
We drove past the hotel three times when trying to find it as there was a building site in the entrance. We then were informed that to use the Swimming Pool which is not a Swimming Pool, it was Kr 249.00 per person. We knew there was a charge to use the fitness facilities but didn't say that included the pool. We got to the room to be faced with a building site. The balcony overlooked this and the road. Not the peaceful setting we were hoping for. On waking in the morning to diggers and JCB's trundling along the metal plates that had been put down to stop them sinking in the mud, we tried to sit outside and enjoy a morning hot drink before going to bfast but that was short lived as they were emptying the digger buckets from a great height into the skip. There was brick and plaster dust everywhere!!! So we had to go inside, again no windows open. We went down to bfast, there was not a lot of choice, and the staff were very unfriendly. We took a boiled egg to eat. My son cracked the top off (as you do), and all the white squirted out everywhere, it was uncooked. My husband spoke to the waitress and she said she would speak to the chef. She returned and told us that that was how the Danish like their eggs!!! I said um Don't think they like them raw. So - BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING THIS HOTEL. IF YOU WANT PEACE AND QUIET, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS IS NOT THE HOTEL FOR YOU.

Dear Jane Thank you for your feed back. I am sorry that your where bothered by our renovation and new construction at Kellers Park. We try our best to minimize the inconvenience for our many happy guests with limited working hours for the workmens and we are also working hard to keep the area nice and clean. But in this case, however, I must admit, that we haven´t lived up to expectations. This is of course far from what you can expect from us and also far from what we expect of ourselves. We appreciate our guests feed back very much and use it to improve our performances. Our fitness facilities are free to use for all guests. It is only the spacilities called Aquaspa, that costs 250 DKK pr. Person for access during the entire stay. Regarding your experience in the breakfast room. I´m sorry that you weren´t offered another egg specially cooked for a little longer time. It is true that the Danes love their morning eggs soft boiled. I have had a chance to talk to our chefs and the standard procedure for softboiled eggs at our hotel is following. The eggs are cooked in boiling water for 5 minutes and 40 seconds. Afterwards the eggs are cooled down to prevent that they will continue to boil on and end up being hard-boiled eggs instead. The ministry of Environment and Food´s webside states that it is safe to eat food prepared with raw eggs from Denmark. There is almost no salmonella in Danish eggs because the poultry industry for many years has worked diligently to eliminate salmonella from the production of table eggs. This work was recognized in the EU as Denmark July 1, 2012 was a special status for Salmonella in eggs. With special status, Denmark may also require that foreign eggs must not contain salmonella. In collaboration with the industry, the Danish sample program from October 2013 is tightened further, and that means that Danish egg is subject Europe's toughest salmonella control. So if you ever should have the chance to visit Denmark, Please don´t be afraid to try our soft-boiled eggs. I can also recommend that you try our Danish pastry or rye-bread. You must know that I understand that you chose to leave our hotel when we did not fulfill the expectations. Our hotel manager was also present that morning and he apologized already there that you have had a bad experience and offered you a total refund of your payment. Your booking and payment was made through Expedia and I have afterwards talked to them, explained the situations and asked them to refund you payment. I sorry that it ended like this, I know that you properly won´t return to Kellers Park but I hope that you will visit Denmark some other time. Best regards Michelle Brandtlund - Kellers Park

The room was nice and roomy, but overall I was glad to leave. I traveled with my two sons. There were 3 beds, two were very nice, the other (mine) was basically a cot, not comfortable at all. The bathroom was big, but the shower pressure was low. It was impossible for us to even find a drink of water in the place.The dinner we had at night was so overpriced. The waitress informed me that if we didn't order wine or soda that we would be charged 25DK each for tap water. Our bill for dinner was 885DK and it wasn't very good. I really couldn't understand what all of the hype for this hotel was about. Definitely would never stay again.
