River Derwent flood plain Taken from the point that the path forming the Derwent Valley Heritage Trail heads down some precarious steps to continue east from Borrowash Bridge. The surrounding fields are protected by a small bank along which the path runs for about half a mile.

Two Uprooted Trees. They look like ashes, but I could not make out if they have been uprooted from the bank here (which I suspect is the case) or washed down from upstream.
