Stylish Cornish Cottage, unbeatable location

Set in a peaceful location at the far end of the historic harbour, the last house before the sea where the private road ends. Fall asleep to the sound of the river and sea and wake to watch boats bobbing on the rising tide. This Grade II listed cottage is surrounded by National Trust land in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and probably offers the best views in Boscastle! Anchor Cottage is situated on the South West Coast Path, popular with hikers, and provides a fantastic base to visit North Cornwall and beyond, including Bodmin Moor. Easy walking distance to all that Boscastle has to offer including the immediate facilities set in the harbour itself and the pubs, restaurants and shops in the main town.

The cottage itself has been beautifully modernised and features an open plan ground floor with stunning fireplace set between the sitting and dining areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for leisurely meals in the spacious dining area. Outside there is a raised terrace area for drinks and light meals, with far reaching views including breathtaking sunsets to the west.

Anchor Cottage is set at the end of a listed terrace of 5 cottages, with private parking for 2 cars at the front and 1 at the rear.

What a find! Such hospitable hosts, and they had thought of every detail to make our weekend unforgettable. We were so pleased to stay here; what an amazing location - a beautifully presented property, together with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and amazing showers. We so enjoyed lovely walks, visit to the local farm shop and then supper at the pub. Overall couldn’t recommend highly enough.
