"The cabin is directly on the beach, you can hear the waves through an open window at night. The place is clean with great amenities including access to kayak and paddleboards, a delightful outdoor shower and lots of room to swim. The host is friendly and welcoming, she has a ton of local information and is responsive to any issues. The area is quiet and a lovely place to rest and relax. "

"Lovely property with a fabulous view! Plenty of space and rooms were well separated allowing for privacy. Found everything that we needed for a one week stay. I was worried that because it was not air conditioned we would be too hot as they were calling for temperatures in the mid 30’s. In fact it was not an issue. Lots of fans in the house and by opening up the windows each night (the windows are all screened), and then closing them during the day we were very comfortable. The owners answered emails promptly. Loved the area. Would recommend Balfour golf! All in all, a fabulous week. Thank you Charlotte and Robin"

"Claudia was a lovely host and the premises were superb. Enjoyed the property and proximity to the lake. It is somewhat removed and off a busier road which makes it isolated and a solid drive to get any additional groceries or to get into town. Not an issue, but something to be mindful of. The cabin was well equipped and very clean. Big plus is the great deck and that it’s pet friendly. Would stay there again and recommend it to others. "

"What a beautiful little gem! Very quaint historical manor with lots of history. Rebecca the Innkeeper was so sweet. She made the stay that much more incredible. She is very kind, helpful and an amazing chef. Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. She made us feel so at home. Will definitely return next yr. If you have the time walk up the back trails to the waterfall. Beautiful. Thanks Rebecca. Hope to see you again next yr! "

"Cute place to stay flat walking trails and the beach near by hospitality communication was excellent. Local cafe had really good bakery. So nice and quiet nice break for city dwellers."
