Good only for 1 night

power socket is not working. Person from reception is very very old and knows only french. Hotel is old and room was cold. It is ok that you can pay with card. Food is very very expensive.

Herzig!

Dass das Haus nicht das neuste und modernste mehr ist, ist einfach so. Dafür ist der Service sehr gut und warmherzig. Das Zimmer war genau das, was ich gebraucht habe: gross genug, sauber und ein gutes Bett zum schlafen: eine perfekte Ausgangsbasis, um die Gegend sportlich zu erkundigen. Die Lage direkt an der Route du Grand St. Bernard ist sehr praktisch, ein Zimmer auf der Rückseite ist entsprechend empfehlenswert wenn Ruhe gefragt ist. Auch das Restaurant wird mit Warmherzigkeit geführt. Kurz: gerne wieder!

L’hotel est correct pour le prix. Tres propre pas de soucis de ce côté là. Par contre chambre bruyante, on entend tous les voisins de palier. Pas de telephone qui fonction. Wifi inexistante contrairement à ce qui est dit dans l’annonce ( sauf dans le restaurant où elle daigne fonctionner). Serviettes de salle de bain usagées à l’extrême ( bords qui s’effilochent d’usure !) Nous avons attendu 15 bonnes minutes avant qu’on nous enregistre et nous donne la clé de nos chambres ( 2 de reservées). Niveau restaurant, pas mieux: Serveuse désagréable et hautaine ( par contre nourriture bonne) qui n’avait clairement pas envie de nous servir.... Pour finir, la chambre devait être libérée pour 11 h le matin de notre départ, dès 9h on venait taper à la porte ( par 2 fois ! ) pour nous faire comprendre de partir pour le ménage. On ne recommencera pas l’expérience de cet hotel.

Very nice stop on the Via Francigena. I had 2 nice days to wait for the weather to clear to hike up the St Bernard Pass. The hotel was very accommodating with my dog staying with me and the food was delicious!

Auch für die Schweiz halte ich die Preise für die Speisen für überteuert. Bsp. 1 Hamburger 26CHF Wenn man für das Abendessen doppelt so viel zahlt wie für das Zimmer dann stimmen halt die Relationen nicht.

Wer nur duschen und schlafen will ist hier gut aufgehoben. Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommenes, aber nettes Hotel. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten. Es war alles sauber, kann man nicht meckern

Road hotel in beautiful environment

A typical road-trip hotel on the way from Switzerland to Italy, and a pretty authentic representative of that genre. Although it has probably seen its better days, it provides value for money and the rooms are ok and the bath room fresh. Do not expect a very well working (i.e. high speed) internet. Beautiful surroundings.
