Beautiful old property but faded grandeur meant it needs a bit of TLC. Our room and bathroom including sheets and towels were very clean but the carpet was stained the radiator was caked in debris and the cupboard needed a clean. The bathroom looked recently updated and was nice. Amazing views from the rear of the hotel. Good parking and convenient for Bradford on Avon and a short journey to Longlete.

We didn’t have any breakfast … meeting up with family

Breakfast menu was freshly cooked with a small but varied buffet which included yogurt fresh fruit cereals toast and pastries. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean with good storage and a good size fridge. Comfy bed too. Only minor feedback was that hairdryer was not great and needed replacing

The room was clean and facilities were good. We paid for a deluxe double and ended up with a family accessible which wasn’t an issue at all just surprising as there was 2 of us. Overall good stay though and great location as only 5 min walk to Cabot Circus and so close to old city.

The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. The dressing table was unstable and wobbled. Breakfast was excellent, dinner not so. My main portion was paltry. A discount of £2.40 was offered as compensation, not enough. There was a horrid smell of old refuse and greasy food in the communal corridors. The views and location were exceptional. The staff were helpful and lovely. Not the best value unfortunately.
