Beautiful Anna Maria

Quiet location, walking distance to beach, beach had a gradual decline into the water, kids loved the pool, plenty of bathrooms, kids enjoy the retro video game...so did my husband:)

AMI Beach house

There were six adults in our 60s that rented this beautiful house. The bedrooms were very spacious, and we all had a king bed, which were all very comfortable. The upstairs rooftop deck was fabulous, beautiful views. The hot tub in the pool were a hit. The location is right across from the beach and easy to walk to restaurants and watch the beautiful sunset at night. Would definitely enjoy returning to this house.

The house was a great size for our party of 10. Beach toys and chairs were highly appreciated As noted in the posting, easy access to the beach, playground and other activities. I asked the host a couple of questions during my stay and responses were timely and accurate.

Birthday Week at the Beach

We spent the week at this beautiful and beautifully maintained beach house celebrating a 70th birthday with 12 kids and grandkids. We could not have been happier with the accommodations and all the amenities. Missy was very responsive to any inquiries we had and was most helpful when we left some items behind. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach close. Overall, a perfect week! We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Wonderful location, and a short walk to the beach. It is a spacious - beautiful, clean home. Fantastic communication & easy check-in and check out process. If we or anyone we know is going to AMI we will recommend staying here. Definitely a 5 star is my book.

Great place to stay!

We had a great weekend staying at this property! BIG house and the layout is perfect! Parking can get a little tight, especially if you have a large vehicle. The lake view is awesome and the sound of the waterfall next to the house was amazing! Location is prime for both the view and convenience to the stores nearby. The house came with everything we needed for our stay! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Wonderful Family Stay!

Beautiful roomy home, great location with easy beach walk, nice amenities all around! Lots of separate bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our large family requirements, yet still felt close in the great kitchen to gather for meals and fun. We really enjoyed the relaxing pool area with the sitting space, grill, bar, very large eating table, foosball table, and outdoor TV for viewing and music. Above all, the host, Missy, was easily accessible, quick to respond and friendly for any of our needs.

Great House/Location

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Water Beach House. The house was great. It had everything we needed and never felt crowded for our party of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). The pool and hot tub were perfect for when we got tired of the beach. Speaking of the beach- it was great as well. It was soft white sand and not very crowded at all, and the best part was it was only a couple minute walk. The owner, Missy, was very responsive and a joy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding beach house

My husband and I travelled with friends and family last week and stayed in this house. The house was very well maintained, walking distance to the beach and close to many restaurants. We can't say enough about the backyard and pool. The landscaping truly made it feel like an island paradise. We spent most of the week swimming and cooking outside. The crows nest offers great views of the bay and the gulf of Mexico. Missy was easy to get in touch with and was very accomodating to our group. I highly recommend this house for a beach getaway. 10 out of 10 stars from our group.

Gorgeous house, so close to the beach!! 10/10

Me and my family stayed here for our spring break and cannot say enough great things!!! VERY clean and updated. Easy to check-in/check-out, and included instructions for everything. Exactly what we were expecting based on the listing and pictures and more!!! Plenty of room for the large group that we had (including 2 under 2!)It is only 1.5 blocks to the beach but felt less than that, SO close and convient. We had a golf cart to take us to and from just in case, but there is also a beach wagon at the house to help carry things! The overall location was perfect too, close to all the right spots (Publix, Coffee House, Wicked Cantina, etc.)The host is also amazing, checking in with us pre-stay (i had a lot of questions lol) & during our stay frequently and gave us a direct line of communication should anything happen during our trip. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend and would absolutely stay here again!! 3 Thanks so much !!!

Magical AMI

For a second year we rented this beautiful property for a family vacation in November. As reports of the hurricane came in we became concerned about that happening. Melissa was very forthcoming with information about the state of the island and her home. I'm happy to report that Anna Maria is "The little island that could." The island and many restaurant are open and welcoming guests with open arms. The Blue Water Beach House was as warm and inviting as in the past and the beach picture perfect. The effort and tenacity of the property owners and work crew is to be truly commended.

Fabulous retirement vacation

I wanted the big house experience with my friends for my retirement. It had everything we needed. With 10 people you need the privacy decks and the four bathrooms, but also the big kitchen and table for 10 for big meals and gatherings. The trees all around the pool was wonderful for privacy from neighbors. I loved the rooftop deck!! Many sunrises and sunsets watch there! The decor was awesome. It was clean and maintained very well. Thank you, I'd highly recommend this VRBO.

Loved this house!

Our family of 7 adults and 2 six-year-olds had a wonderful time at this house! It can be hard to find houses with 4 king beds plus beds for kids and this was perfect. Nobody had the “bad room” - they were all great! The kids LOVED the arcade games and we all enjoyed the pool. There were two wagons, several chairs, and lots of towels and toys for the beach and pool. It was so nice to load everything up, walk just a few minutes, and be at the beach. Missy was extremely responsive, delivering batteries for a dead tv remote within the hour. Would love to stay here again. Thank you, Missy!

Family vacation

This is not the first time for Anna Maria but our first time with The Prout's, Missy was by far the best hostess we have ever had!! She is personable and always available if we had any questions. It was ready as promised, clean and smelled great!! The pool is why you would want to rent this house. It is small but with the winter weather it was warm every day!!! The hot tub was great. We usually go to the other end of the island for sand dollars but found 40 sharks teeth on the beach by the house. I would definitely recommend renting it. We had kids ranging from 7 months to 4 years and having their bedrooms upstairs was great. Hope to enjoy this house again!!!

We would definitely stay at this property again. The walk to the beach literally was a 5 minute walk, the property was so huge, accomodating, clean and provided the room we needed for all of us to be comfortable but not cramped. Lastly, there were 3 lthings that made our trip outstanding by staying here at Avenue C: 1. Nice pool and hot tub with an outdoor grill and TV set up were nice extras after spending time on the beach 2. Huge common areas that allowed our whole family unit to be together and enjoy each other 3. Perfect location to enjoy the gulf from the upstairs balcony and quick access to restaurants and Publix. Thumbs up to Missy and the team! Finally, an online description and photos on the internet that are accurate and not misleading. It made our trip perfect! David & Marcia W

Our first multi-generational holiday a success!

I was quite worried about planning the first multi-generational trip for our family of 8 (6 adults and two children)! My daughter had been to Anna Maria Island Holmes Beach area with her husband and first son in 2019 and just loved the area so much that she convinced us to take our first family holiday on AMI. The minute we pulled up to the house I felt good about it and entering the main floor living space, saw it was exactly as it appeared in the VRBO photos. Everyone loved their rooms…especially the 3 and 6 year old boys who shared the bunk-bed room, safely next to their parents’ room. My son and his financee had the 2nd level rom with the ensuite and loved it too! Every morning I would put the coffee on at 6:30am and head up to watch the sunrise over the bay…and almost every evening, we would enjoy the sunset over the gulf. The pool, hot tub, foosball table and retro games were a great way for everyone to relax and have fun! My daughter said the Bradenton Beach location was better than Holmes Beach as it was much closer to everything. There were a few issues, as you’d expect with any rental, but as noted in other guest reviews, Missy was extremely helpful and prompt in finding solutions. We hope to return soon to create more family memories in this house!
