If you've ever driven onto Anna Maria Island via the Cortez Bridge, you'll be familiar with the colorful and charming townhouses at South Beach Village, just to the north of the bridge. If views of the Bay and Gulf didn't put you in an island mood, one glimpse of this architectural confection of yellow, peach, aqua, and lime will be sure to get the steel drums playing!
Located directly across the street from the beach, this three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath townhome is right at the heart of everything, with the Gulf Drive Cafe across the street and Bridge Street just a few blocks away. If you want to explore a little further afield, the free Anna Maria Trolley stops right at the end of the street, ready for your excursion to Holmes Beach and the village of Anna Maria, or even down to Longboat Key, St. Armand's, and Sarasota (Heads up! Once you change trolleys at Coquina Beach and head to LBK and Sarasota, a fee applies).
Equipped with an elevator to make three-level living a cinch, this townhome is loaded with room for you and your family to spread out, but offers great common areas when you want to be together. The large garage will accommodate up to two vehicles (everything MUST be parked in the garage during your stay). Off the garage you'll find a furnished back patio, the perfect place for lunch or games, along with comfortable lounging furniture for sitting in the sun. You'll also find a path to the community pool.
Up one level you'll find a big, open common area, with a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area, laundry room, half bath, and a large living area with a smart TV. A large screened balcony overlooks the Gulf; filled with comfortable furniture, it's the perfect place for cocktails or enjoying a good book. Off the dining area, a smaller open balcony overlooks the Bay.
Upstairs on the third level you'll find a large master bedroom suite with lovely views of the Gulf, a king bed, flat-panel TV, and walk-in closet, while the beautifully remodeled master bath features a large double vanity and spa-like walk-in shower. Two other bedrooms are also upstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Both rooms have their own TVs so everyone in your group can watch their own programs. These bedrooms share the hall bath which also features a granite countertop and a combination tub and shower.
This unit can sleep a total of six people, but condo living does have some restrictions: - Cars MUST be parked inside the garage at all times, so please, ONLY TWO MID-SIZE CARS or SUVs! There is only VERY limited guest parking (only two spots for the entire complex), so if someone is visiting you, they shouldn't depend on being able to park in guest parking. Unless their car will fit in your garage, they should plan to arrive on foot, by bike, or on the trolley. - Guests are not allowed to have TRAILERS at South Beach Village! The owners of this unit have their own golf cart on the premises, but it is NOT available for guest use. -
You are allowed to have a golf cart as long as it can fit in the garage. Be mindful that a tall or sporty golf cart might not fit in the garage and therefore won't be permitted at the property. - Only guests registered to stay at South Beach Village may use the community pool. That means no more than six people from your unit may use the pool. - *Guests may have one dog under 20 pounds, but no more. An additional fee will apply. Also, certain breeds are excluded. It is necessary that you check with our office prior to your trip for details on weight and breed limitations.
If these restrictions won't work for you, there's no way of getting around them...finding a different place will be your best bet, and we'll be happy to help!

Beautiful house and location. Beach was across the street, lots of places to eat around and the island trolley takes you all around. We encounter some minor issues in the property but they were addressed immediately.
Amazing location and home! There were 5 of us and had plenty of space to relax. Beach was so close and the restaurant across the street on the beach was perfect for lunch and drinks. The elevator came in handy and my daughters favorite part. Will definitely rent again
This property was perfect for us. We have a daughter who is disabled and having the elevator in the unit was a lifesaver. We chose this location for the proximity to the beach and the ability to walk to dining and shops. We could not have been happier. We did have an issue with the elevator at first, but the property manager went above and beyond to help our stay be comfortable. Thank you for sharing this stunning home with us.
Stellar customer service in spite of mother nature
Due to the two back-to-back major hurricanes that hit AMI we were unable to visit the island. I booked this rez weeks prior and I can tell you that I've never had a more pleasant customer service experience. They were so lovely and helpful every step of the way. I just know in my heart by the way that they cared for their visitors, it was going to be a 5 star experience.
We will pray for beautiful Anna Maria Island and it's residents and we know someday we will visit again and hopefully rebook this exact location.
Fabulous location, needs a better cleaning service
Property was well kept and in a fabulous location, across from tiki hut and steps to beach, nice walk to Bridge street. Rooms were a great size, back patio was screened in and had nice set up with couches and a bar table. Garage was spacious and clean with a beach wagon (awesome!) and lots of beach chairs and gear which was really nice. I would not recommend this home for those with really little kids (like us) as there are the owners personal glass collectibles in reach of kids - I must have missed the picture of the kitchen with the huge open shelving unit of glass/ceramics - we had to barricade it with chairs to keep our toddlers away. Really nice having a washer/dryer and full kitchen. Very spacious place.
I took off a star for the cleanliness - needs a deeper clean. Happy to provide more info to the owners if desired.
The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay! Plenty of seating and kitchen was well stocked. Location was also very fun and convenient.

This property was the cherry on top for our family vacation. The beach, location and amenities were fantastic. The condo was phenomenal. Extremely clean, prepared on time for our arrival, view is amazing and being able to park in a private garage was awesome.
The property was beautifully decorated and it was a joy to be able to stay there. The family enjoyed easy access to the beach, as well as restaurants. It was convenient to everything and we really didn’t need additional transportation. Thanks for a great vacation!
Beautiful, clean home. Perfect location to the beach, restaurants and shops. Property manager responded to texts quickly. Overall extremely satisfied with this rental and would definitely stay again. The only thing to note is the beach gear could be replaced or at least just thrown out. Out of approximately 9 chairs only 4 were usable, the rest broken. All of the umbrellas were broken. And the wagon was on its last wheel, literally. But I don't recall these items even being listed under amenities and are more than likely just an extra benefit to use. Understandably with salt water and multiple users I'm sure the owners can not guaranteed them to be available or even always being aware of their current condition. So this place would not lose any stars for this.Look forward to booking again in the future.
