Our home is ideally situated between the sparkling Gulf beaches and the serene Anna Maria Sound. You're just a short walk from a smaller, more private beach in the city of Bradenton Beach. For more recreation, the bay is also within walking distance and features a baseball field, a basketball court, a playground, and a small launch area for canoes or kayaks.

Enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to the beach. For exploring further, the free island trolley stops nearby every 20 minutes, providing easy and charming transportation to the island's best restaurants, bars, and historic sights.

You will have private access to the entire elevated home, ensuring a comfortable and exclusive experience during your vacation. Although it's a back-to-back duplex, there are no shared amenities whatsoever.

Welcome to the AMI Beach Shack, your elevated island retreat! This lovingly restored home is perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle, offering a peaceful escape while keeping you in the heart of all that Anna Maria Island has to offer.

Step inside to an open and inviting living space with a modern, coastal feel. You can relax on the large sectional sofa in the living room or prepare your favorite meals in the full kitchen, which boasts stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops.

Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, and free high-speed wireless internet is available throughout the house, keeping you connected and entertained during your stay.

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you kindly observe the following rules:
• Maximum occupancy of the home includes all children and infants.
• A maximum of two vehicles are permitted per unit. RVs, campers, and trailers are not allowed.
• We are pet-friendly! Pets are considered but require prior written approval. A pet fee will be charged per stay.
• Service animals are welcome at no extra charge. We do require knowing what skill or task the animal has been trained to perform. Emotional support animals are subject to the standard pet fee.

By booking, guests agree to abide by all house rules and to be responsible for all costs associated with the repair or replacement of any damages that may occur during the stay.

Wow- we were so impressed with this rental! It was clean and exactly as advertised. The location was fantastic ! The Beach Shack did not disappoint !!

This property was really perfect for our group of 1 adult and 4 teens. It was very clean and had everything one would need , whether you wanted to cook or go to the beach. Speaking of the beach , a very short walk across the street and you are right there!! There was also easy access to the local free trolley that can take you up and down Anna Maria. We loved this place and highly recommend the whole area !

AMI Beach Shack

The AMI Beach Shack had everything we needed for a girls' beach weekend including beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. The location was great, just three blocks to a beautiful beach and a short trolley ride to restaurants and shopping. The Shack itself has been completely redone and is clean, comfortable and cute. Great time!!

We recently stayed at the AMI Beach Shack The unit was very clean upon arrival. The location was great, a very short walk to the beach and the Free Trolley stop! We were very comfortable here, there were 3 adults but 4 would have worked too! The beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for cooking if you choose to do so. The dishwasher doesn’t work too well but if you rinse all dishes really well it’s ok. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for use during your stay which came on quite handy as we flew down. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Nothing "shack" about this site. Comfortable and clean. Update and a lot of nice touches. Plenty of room. Comfortable bed. Updated, large kitchen. Quick walk to beautiful Bradenton Beach. Staff immediately responsive to any questions (which were few because they communicated so well throughout. Grateful for the help and for the great last two weeks after the difficult last two years. Sweet and simple

This is a sweet beach house that met the basic needs for our family. I was super impressed with how clean the property was given the sandy nature of the area. The location is very near the public beach and a small playground. The shopping area and restaurants were about a 20-30 minute walk, and it was nice to be able to get around without a car. I didn’t realize that the home actually has two units, with this one being on the front. We were able to hear the other renters but it wasn’t overly disruptive, and the property does offer a degree of separation in the shared spaces. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Perfect weekend in paradise

We loved everything about this property. The location was perfect, 3 short blocks to the beach, even closer to the bay. Communication with the rental owner/property manager was smooth and easy. Early check-in option was worth the few extra bucks. Property was clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, and kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. We loved the microfiber beach towels so much we both purchased the same ones when we got home! If one thing could use an upgrade it would be the beach chairs, but we are low maintenance and we were happy just to have something to sit on at the beach. A few restaurants within walking distance. Quick drive or Monkey Bus ride to most other places. We were only 2 people, but this house would suit 4 comfortably. I would definitely stay here again.

Live like a local, 2 blocks from the beach

The entire experience, from booking, to checking-in, to checking-out has been smooth sailing. The property itself is perfectly sized for a family, with two sizable beds; the couch bed is comfortable enough that my children often preferred sleeping there. The laundry room has a generous assortment of beach equipment and the shaded patio is perfect for doing some grilling and enjoying a few beers out of the heat. If you've never been to AMI before, the location is ideal: adjacent to a free trolley stop (useful for going places with limited parking, such as Bridge Street stores), close to the supermarket, pharmacy, and the main bridge on/off the island (for day trips), while also being in a quiet residential neighborhood near a playground. Lelia and Justin were welcoming, helpful and prompt in their communications. Highly recommended.
