"The "George",on the banks of the North Tyne ,is one of the most delightfully situated places I have ever stayed in. Staff, friendly and helpful, room very comfortable and a view over the river to the old stone bridge Lovely walking country, Hadrian's Wall, I hope to come back for a longer stay "
