"Absolutly gorgous hut, really quaint and quirky. Perfect bit of outdoor space with decking and grass for our dog. Lovely size hot tub and comfy bed.
Stunning views and perfect location for nice long walks. Local pub does beautiful food on a evening.
Only issue is that there could be a sign somewhere to advise where to turn off to get to the huts as we found it difficult to find.
We had a lovely, relaxibg few days, we would love to return."

"Beautiful house located in the heart of the amazing village of Alston. Everything (restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, etc) is within walking distance. If we ever come this way again I would book this place again in a heartbeat!"

"This hotel has been the top hotel in Carlisle for a century it more I imagine. On my recent visit I was impressed that the rooms we had in the main classic part of the hotel had been brought up to a very good modern standard. The annex at the rear of the hotel we had last year were more modest but benefited from a fabulous view of the cathedral."
"Absolute 5/5. Room was amazing and the food was excellent. Friendly staff, very cool castle tour kicks off at 1015am every morning. An awesome castle to sit back and relax. Hexham is a beautiful nearby settlement to explore."
"The room was lovely and large and clean. They provided crumpets and tasty butter and jam for breakfast.
The only issue is that the room was quite warm and there was no Airconditioning."
"We had an overnight stay here, with our dog, in room 2. It is a garden room accessed externally via the carpark and small private decked area (seating provided). The room was comfortable and clean. Shower pressure wasn't brilliant, but for an overnight stay, it serficed. The hairdryer provided wasn't very powerful either, so took a long time to dry long hair. Basic tea and coffee making facilities were provided, but you'll need to take your own biscuits if you like having a snack with your brew!
Booking in was straightforward and staff were both friendly and helpful. The inn itself is very welcoming with a dining area for breakfast and evening meals, and a comfortable bar area. Staff serving food and drinks were friendly, helpful and attentive.
We would highly recommend the food - freshly cooked, beautifully presented and tasted fantastic! We had both our evening meal and breakfast here and enjoyed it all.
The inn is easily accessible and quiet, serving both the guests and the owners of residential static caravans on site. There are also historical ruins adjoining the inn which were interesting to look at and read about if you enjoy a touch of history!"
"Slaley is a grand hotel, outdated in parts, but don't let this put you off.
Check in was quick, room spacious and clean. Nice view over looking the driveway.
Bars were good and not to expensive.
Breakfast was ok,food was fine, but kept running bout. lots of guests and the coffee machines kept running out aswell.
Leisure facilities were good, could do with more loungers, but its finding places to put them.
Overall had a good might away. Would stay again"
