"Our stay here was disappointing. Restaurant: closed. Bar: closed. Our room was sad, and noisy; it was hard to sleep with a rattling mini fridge and extremely loud and outdated AC. Since all the amenities were closed, it made for a miserable stay. Even the bikes that are supposed to be for the guest's entertainment were old and rusty that I didn't want to risk riding an unkept bike. Not coming back here again."

"If you like full-sized, NOT QUEEN beds, that are sagging and old and the springs make noise with every movement, this is the hotel for you. This is the only Hampton in memory with beds that remind me of bad hotels from the 80's. The beds were so bad we forfeited our 2nd night and cancelled the 3rd (thank goodness the hotel staff were able to refund us the 3rd night). This hotel is managed by a management company and they are clearly not doing maintenance. The hotel carpet is old and stained and wrinkling and the exterior needs a power wash. Hard to believe that a hotel on such a nice water view property has not been taken care of. We tried staying at all Hilton properties in order to have nice beds and amenities, but Hilton failed with several of their properties. NO MORE, going back to hotels.com and booking the best hotel in the area, not relying on Hilton, this management company is ruining the Hilton brand. When I explained how bad the beds were the staff were totally in agreement and understood that management has been very lax and are completely aware of the shortcomings."

"This house is in a nice neighborhood close to the ocean and close to shopping centers. The house is spacious, comfortable, and has plenty of amenities. The host is super friendly and communicative.If I’m ever in this area again, I’ll definitely be looking to stay here."

"Room was very clean, comfortable bed, beachfront was awesome! My only issue were the walls are very thin so hope your neighbors are quiet. Mine were not! They talked and laughed very loud all evening long. I don't mind people having fun but these guests did not respect other neighbors. I had to call front desk twice. Not sure that helped for it went on well after 11 pm. I had to turn up TV just to drown out the noise. Besides that, a good stay. Restaurants and bars were not open in the hotel so don't count on that. Maybe to early in season. Overall, a 4 star rating."

"Lots of room for everyone, lovely living room and views of the ocean from all over the house. Large back deck and lots of outside seating choices. Having the sound of the ocean waves put you to sleep every night was the topper!"

"The parking lot was dark, the rooms were not clean and we were treated to yelling and screaming and running up and down thr halls almost the entire night. Absolutely NOT worth the money."

"This house was exactly what I was looking for. I love being near the water and had never been to Emerald Isle, so I wanted something far enough from the usual beach congestion to feel relaxed, but still close to the water—and this home delivered on both.The house is located in Newport, making it ideal for anyone who enjoys the beach as well as the calm of the sound. The location was perfect, and the home itself was clean, open, airy, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special.I traveled with my dog and really appreciated the spacious backyard, along with the added convenience of dog bowls being provided. It made a big difference.I’m also grateful for how accommodating and responsive the host was whenever I had a question. Overall, I would absolutely return—not just to Newport, but to this house specifically. Choosing this place definitely earned me some points, and I’m confident you won’t be disappointed if you stay here too."
