It was mostly clean. But for the price being paid, the care and hospitality provided was ungenerous. They wouldn't even give me the paper thin slippers without paying.

We found the carpet in the communal areas dirty and the one in our room stained. No pillow cases on spare pillows and one pillow was stained. Windows were exceptionally dirty.
Would have expected more emphasis on cleanliness in a premier hotel.
Breakfast standard not as good as it was last year.
