"Lovely room, nice size, clean, great vistas, only issue was that the heating didn't really work. The room got colder, not warmer. "

"Hotel is lovely and staff excellent but at least with room I stayed in it was very tired and needed updating. Paint was flaking off the walls, there was what looked like someone's foundation stains on the lamp shade and what looked like water marks/ stains on the walls. To note it can be quite noisy due to town centre location. I stayed mid week and was quite loud. "

"The staff at the front desk were fantastic even though they were so busy! The first room we were put it had an issue with the sealant on the shower glass - water flooded the bathroom. The staff moved us straightaway. However, both rooms were really run down. There were chips in the bathroom counter. There were marks on the walls. There was rust on the lamps. The mugs had stains. The towels were really crusty and had holes in them. Not really what I expect from a Novotel. I doubt I’d get holey towels in a Premier Inn! Would not stay again. "

"There is a fee to use the pool and no onsite parking. This is not disclosed accurately on the site nor the Hilton website. The sink ran all night and TV did not work and no one came to fix it. The room was dilapidated and we had to listen to a domestic violence incident twice from the room next to us. We called down and no one came. The hotel is disgusting. Do not stay in this Hilton. We are regular Hilton guests and this one is by far no where near what a Hilton is normally. "

"Excellent location being so close to Cardiff Bay and free parking as hotel guest is nice. You can tell the property is quite dated though and could do with some upgrades to rooms. Our air con did not seem to be working or not strong enough so that could be an improvement. Didn't try the restaurant but the bar area seemed nice and relaxing to sit and lounge."
