Pool was clean and easily accessible The rooms are tired and require a refurbishment the gaps in the window allowed road noise and a draft to the room, cupboard door handles are secured primitively with wood screws and the bedside electric socket did not work. "

"Terrible customer service. I was told directly by the hotel that changing my dates would be okay, but when Expedia asked them to issue the waiver needed, they refused. So in reality they said what sounded nice on the phone, then failed to back it up with action. Very misleading and extremely frustrating to deal with. Friendly at first glance, but completely unhelpful when it actually mattered. I would not recommend this hotel."

"We were happy with our room apart from it said it was a king, and it was only a double bed. I never find them very comfortable to share. The history of the pub, breakfast room, location and parking were all appreciated. We would recommend it."
