"Staff were polite and helpful. Dinner and breakfast good. The room was a good size, however in need of decorative maintenance. There were cleanliness issues, dirty bathroom door with spashes and a hole. Bathroom sink plug and overflow dirty. Varous bits under bed."

"Couldn't have been more helpful as I had mad a huge error on my booking. Staff remained very helpful and soon sorted out our room. Food is excellent, recommend booking the breakfast. Can't wait to come and stay again."

"A property of former grandeur that is now a little rough around the edges! Our room was spacious with an excellent view of the garden but seemed to be at the furthest and highest extremity of the building. The bathroom facilities were excellent and the shower was great. The leisure centre was a bonus along with the provision of bathrobes. The staff were polite and helpful but seemed a bit stretched. We enjoyed a stroll round the grounds."

"This is a lovely hotel. We didn't know what to expect and upon arrival, were delighted by the decor, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the manager who greeted us. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities that we would expect. Breakfast was next level. A full English breakfast, including a full gluten-free and veggie option with doorstop toast. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future, and can't recommend it enough if you are looking for a clean, easy, nicely decorated, quiet, close-to-town location. "

The breakfast was lovely, the staff were very friendly and we could even charge our electric car. The location was perfect too. There was nothing I would change about our stay! "
