Bar great ... kid in Hall ...Buzz off Highlights: The €100 massage was truly exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced—and the pool attendant was remarkably kind and attentive. Concerns: At checkout, the hotel attempted to charge €50 for pressing a dress I never owned, which was troubling. Recommendation: A pleasant location overall, but future guests should request a room upgrade and temper expectations regarding service and dining."

"We loved our stay at Ronco sopra Ascona. The villa is located in a beautiful neighborhood with a park & walking trails nearby. The villa was clean & well equipped; the view of the lake & mountains from the balcony is spectacular. Marinella & Rags were perfect hosts & very welcoming. We’d love to go back!"

"Upon check-in I had to submit my e-mail address for tickets but never received anything. Room was a bit small but OK and with a great view. Restaurant terrace and view excellent. Received a nice token birthday gift which was thoughtful. Staff members were all very friendly. Second night, someone in the neighborhood was blasting loud music all night, which cut into sleeping time. That was unfortunate. Overall, our stay was good."
