Lovely quiet place, the Lodges well spaced.

Lovely quiet place, the Lodges well spaced. Staff very helpful. Grounds well kept and Lovely stream running along the entrace drive to the Reception. The Reteat is not far from Park and Ride that takes you in to Bath. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be going again.

Lovely accommodation and very very clean which was fab and appreciated, except for spider webs at back of door to walk in wardrobe and lots of dust right by bottom of bathroom sinks which is probably difficult to get a vacuum there.Bar shut at 830pm on sat evening which could be helpful to be told that at check in.Lovely site and position though, would return and recommend.

Very comfortable and fairly large lounge dinner kitchen area, televisions in the lounge and both bedrooms, a main bathroom and an ensuite shower room off the main bedroom, beds were very comfortable, a reasonable quality combined washer/ dryer gives a good level of clothes washing, the dishwasher is big enough to take a whole days worth of pots, the wi-fi works well, we had a great time.

The accommodation is very good, if not luxurious, for the price.

The accommodation is very good, if not luxurious, for the price. Although you wouldn’t hang around the place all day as there is nothing to do onsite (except a small gym that we didn’t use). The facilities are ok with a decent pub food/bar that shuts quite early in evening and stock of basic shop essentials. Location is fab as it’s dead quiet and feels rural but also it’s just on outskirts of Bath and only a few minutes journey into the town centre.

Great location very quiet, lodge needed a bit of a revamp looks a bit tatty, soft chairs got stains, single leather chair has seen better days. Carpet needs a clean stains on it. Bathroom mouldy under the glass of shower. Other than that great surroundings can see the wildlife, very quite place to relax and unwind. Restaurant is hit and miss, lovely meal on Monday so went back Thursday not good, steak tuff, stir fry with noodles and steak was overwhelmed with sauce all you could taste was the sauce and steak very hard on that also.

We wanted a quiet, relaxing weekend break & that's exactly what we had.The accomadation had everything you could need for a self catering break.On our arrival there was a welcome pack for our dog with bowls for feeding, a bag of treats & a toy fir her which I thought was a lovely touch.The beds were very comfortable & made up for our arrival. Towels were also included. There were televisions in the lounge & bedrooms & WiFi was excellent.The whole accommodation including furniture was very comfortable. It was great to have a decking area fenced off to be able to let our dog roam freely. The only suggestion I would make is that a gate be installed which would keep dogs & children safe from wandering. (We layed down 2 patio chairs to stop our dog from escaping).Over all a great accomadation!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat

Our lodge was ready ahead of time and i was able ro check in early. The reception staff were efficient and friendly The lodge was beautifully prepared and lovely and bright. We were three friends spending a weekend catching up with each other and the lodge and location were perfect. Very relaxing park and right on the edge of Bath for easy access to the city and to other lovely towns in the area. Woukd definitely book again. Or try one of the otger parks dotted around the country.

We absolutely loved our New Year break at Bath Mill! The location is superb, it’s set in beautiful nature but still so convenient—the bus runs to the center every 15 minutes. What I appreciated most is that even though it was frosty outside, the house was toasty warm for our arrival. The kitchen was well-equipped. Having a bar and gym on-site was a great bonus. A perfect stay!
