The staff were wonderful and love that the property has a resident dog. Food was very good.

Excellent stop over.
We arrived fairly late on a very wet evening, straight from the airport and were welcomed very cheerfully and professionaly. Very cosy room and excellent dinner in the restaurant that is open later than many. The hotel is under the flight path from Bristol airport so maybe not ideal for a longer stay.

Good but not quiet night's sleep
Good service, good room and good food. But as the rooms open directly onto the car park, general comings and goings combined with VERY early morning bin collections etc, made for a rather disturbed night's sleep.

Amazing country pub. Room was beautiful with extra touches like earplugs and lavender drops for your pillow Food was excellent Service was brilliant Wish I'd been there for more than one night.

Awful smell in room, dead flies are in room, pub closes at 9pm not 10pm as stated, food stopped serving at 8pm, and charged twice for room.

Hello Tim, I'm very sorry that you didn't have an enjoyable stay with us. I have refunded the double charge that my new supervisor on shift had done and I can only apologise for this mistake she's still learning the booking system and didn't realise that they room had already been paid for via Expedia virtual card. regarding closing and kitchen times it states clearly on our website that we close at 9pm on Sunday's and that our kitchen stops service at 8pm. again I can only apologise about the room we do have maintenance coming out today to address the situation. I would like to offer you a voucher that you can use in any of our Butcombe Pubs as an apology and I do hope this doesn't stop you from coming to visit us again in the future. Kind Regards,

All of the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious, and we loved the decor. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The room was clean, well equipped and stylish. It was great having a sofa bed upstairs plus room to relax for my daughter. Complimentary drinks on arrival were a nice touch and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast options were varied and they obviously used quality ingredients. We didn’t have dinner in the pub but we did have drinks and these were reasonably priced. The location was ideal for visiting Cheddar, Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare. I would recommend to others and would happily stay again.

Amazing Find
My partner and I stayed here for a Valentine’s Day break. Beautiful hotel rooms, so spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional and food was outstanding. Would highly recommend, great little find.

Recently refurbished pub and accommodation to an excellent standard. Room was nice and tastefully decorated. Rooms are converted from a barn with an exposed stone wall.

Lovely hotel and restaurant
Stayed with my family and had the Langford and Sanford rooms. Rooms were very spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing and we hope to return soon.

Lovely accommodation
The family room was warm and cosy, very clean, comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Plenty of beverages and biscuits in the room. We were late arriving but the staff had made arrangements for us to access our room and then pay the next morning. We would definitely stay again and is an excellent choice if flying from Bristol airport.
