"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in dog and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. "**Review** We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. It is very nice, charming and welcoming, with a fantastic location right on the seafront. Before our arrival, we had a few queries, and George was extremely helpful in clarifying everything for us. Throughout the reservation process and during our stay, the staff were wonderful and always happy to assist with any questions. One of the most important things for us was that the hotel is genuinely dog-friendly, as we travel everywhere with our small dog. It was great that she was welcome in the areas we needed, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Eastbourne."

"Really amazing hotel, much better than I expected Rooms are very big, high ceiling and right in front of the sea for an amazing sea view . Highly recommended and will use this again. Big thanks to Mark for welcoming us despite us coming very late and the receptionists were super too! (Didn't catch either name) Rooms are clean and all staff are very helpful and great Keep up the amazing hospitality!"
