Dated hotel - needs more care
"Communal spaces were dirty and smelly, staircases and lift too. Inside the room was much cleaner and nicer though... bar staff wasn't attentive or much helpful. Dry plants in the firts floor lobby looked neglected too."

Lovely Romantic stay
"We enjoyed our stay at Bannatyne spa hotel. The executive double room was spacious and relaxing with a queen sized bed. The spa/leasure facilitates were very good. Just a shame we had to pay extra for that."

The area around the hotel is fast changing and was once very run down. It is coming up quickly now and the promenade in particular is clean, safe, well designed, and nice place to hang out and walk down to the Old Town in Hastings.

At Leonard's has s tranquil feel to it and has a good selection of eating places. The beach is a pebble one but great walk above or below the promanade. Hastings pier is walkable but the local authority often lock it up.
