"Lower Standen Farm is a collection of 3 beautifully presented properties full of unique character but all the modern touches you’ll need. We had guests ranging from 4yo to nearly 80yo and we all found our favourite hangout places from swings to snugs. It was perfect for our Easter weekend catch up and the owner was really helpful and responsive when we had questions. Thank you!"

"nice place in a lovely town, the building is very old -1420, so expect low ceilings, beams etc, one downside to our room was it only had a bath, but on the whole a lovely place, didnt see any ghosts ! "

"Had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. The staff were really friendly and Neil was super helpful carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs and then down again on departure. The room was cozy and had all the amenities: flat screen tv, kettle and a radio. I loved the continental breakfast hamper; It was so nice to not have to go down to get breakfast in the morning (especially as I was feeling quite tired) because the breakfast hamper was already in the room complete with a coffee machine, kettle and mini fridge with milk, juice and water. This way I was able to choose a time that suited me to have my breakfast. The hotel's pub served food; the fish was well made (I ordered fish and chips). Hotel had free parking on its premises and it was in a good location - high street with shops, plus close proximity to other attractions; I went to Scotne Castle which was about 15 minutes drive away. Overall I had an enjoyable stay and would recommend. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage for a 60th birthday. The location was great, close to Rye and not too far from Hastings. It had everything we needed and the kitchen was well-equipped. The butter, bread, and milk left for us on arrival was a really thoughtful touch and much appreciated. It was very comfortable with plenty of seating for our group of 8, a baby and a dog. The garden was a lovely bonus! A perfect place for a cosy weekend retreat! Thank you"

"The perfect place to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with the family. Every bedroom was amazing, so no one was disappointed. The large lounge / dinner, with a central log burner, was ideal for a large family, with large windows and 3 doors out to the patio and garden, with lots of frolicking lambs and blossom. Modern additions to the original features were stylish and in keeping with the rustic but luxurious decor and furnishings. We expected a lovely place, but it exceeded expectations, with 'Wows!' From everyone as we explored. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The host communcated well and we'd highly recommend this to everyone. There were 8 of us, but it could easily accommodate 10. Easy reach to Rye, Battle and Hastings. No reservations about recommending this to large groups. We all wish we'd stayed longer."

"Our family gathered to celebrate a big birthday at The Oast for a few days. The whole process, from booking with Bloom Stays to arriving and meeting the very friendly and helpful owner was smooth and seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house has everything you need. Four bedrooms, accommodating 8 people were comfortable and equipped with everything you need. One en suite and two other bathrooms were adequate. In March we couldn't enjoy the outdoor facilities but have no doubt in good weather it would be a very pleasant place to eat and sit outside with a view over the fields and super sunsets, Lots to do and see nearby and an excellent pub next door (literally!) and other eats places in Tenterden and Rye."
