"Really nice stay for a “rest and recharge” getaway. The shepherds hut was exactly as the pictures - clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners had a folder with all the useful information we would need during our stay (how to use the hot tub, location for waste and recycling bins, nearby public footpaths etc). A nice secluded area from the rest of the property to allow for privacy. I would definitely recommend and consider again for a couple’s holiday. "

However it is let down by several maintenance issues (one bedroom & bathroom window not opening or closing properly, bedroom door not closing, broken and ill-fitting toilet seat), and the quality of the mattresses and bedding which was really poor when compared to the most basic Premier Inn/Travelodge. "The house was ideal. It was spacious and had everything we needed. It is in a quiet spot but within easy travelling of the various sites and towns nearby. Rarely had to travel more than 30 minutes. There is a garden which was ideal for sitting in though the weather was mixed. Would like to be there in a sunny spell."
