Lovely hotel, convenient location and we got a free upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary which was a lovely touch from the hotel. I asked for a few personal touches to be added to the room as a surprise for my wife and the hotel accommodated this with no issue and even had it in the upgraded room ready. Great service

We loved this hotel! It is beautifully decorated, clean and full of old character. They have obviously done upgrades while maintaining the age and beauty. The staff were very helpful . The breakfast was also a great deal with lots of options. Great value. If we are ever in Bristol again, we would stay here in a heartbeat!!

Beautiful hotel, feels rather old-fashioned. Worse thing by far is the carpark. Its not designed for larger cars, is a recipe for damaging cars as you have to park with a couple of centimenters of the pillars or another vehicle. Staff very helpful. rooms very small.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! Perfect location, in the centre of Bristol. Lovely staff, fab room, and the best Espresso Martini you can find in town. We loved sitting in the hotel bar with a drink before heading to bed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I arrived early at 12:00 and they allowed me to leave luggage but not check in until 15:00. At 15:00 the line was instantly 5 deep with those made to wait and it was 20 minutes to the counter which seems a bit of a heavy lean on procedure at the expense of customer comfort if the rooms were available. The parking is 17 a night. There’s no robe or slippers but the bed was comfortable. The steak restaurant is first rate.
