I stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last twenty years and co tinue to be impressed. The settjng is perfect overlooking the harbour, its decor stylish with rooms that are comfortable. I particularly liked the sumptuous tv placement and size, ameneties and storage space. The breakfast is served in the restaurant overlooking the harbour and is well catered to hot and cold options.

The cleaning staff were lovely. The room was comfortable. However when I booked and paid for this room it was The Bristol Hotel but by the time I got there it was a Leonardo Group establishment. Had I known this I would not have booked here as I have a moral objection to this hotel group for humanitarian reasons. I am so disappointed and angry and will never book this hotel again.

Staff were very friendly and informative, bed was comfortable, nice to have a bath and the shower was good with high pressure and good temp control. Few critisms is room was a little dusty and could have done with a new lick of paint, and the fan was a little noisy (probably could do with AC in the future considering the rising temp in the UK) but overall I was happy with the service I got for the money, noon check out was a god send.

Great location and about 15 minutes from the station, an easy walk. The dockside area does get busy, avoid if you don’t like to see people having fun, lovely place to walk around plenty to see. We didn’t eat at the hotel, found a bus to Bath only a few minutes walk away. Nice friendly hotel
