The location is convenient. The views are spectacular during any season. The home has all of the amenities that you need for your stay. Jackie and Eric are wonderful hosts."

"Property exactly as advertised. Clear check in and check out instructions. Reasonable expectations for guests (take out trash, put away any dishes you use). Quiet street with good proximity to main roads, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This is the second time we stayed here and will definitely stay again if available the next time we are in Harrisburg, Illinois. Definitely a family friendly host. We had 4 children and all had plenty to do when we were back in the house after a long day of sight seeing and visiting with relatives. The rooms are very spacious so there was no feelings of being cramped. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked breakfast every morning and even made dinner 3 nights. Thank you Michael, our host, for working with us to make our vacation home away from home perfect!"

"Rustic hunting lodge perfect for a large family gathering. The kids had the best time running around and making smores, we went on beautiful hikes in Shawnee National Forest, enjoyed the hot tub, and had plenty of space to cook for our family of 20. Plenty more space too!"
