Stark room with filthy floor and dead mosquitos squished on all the floors and ceiling. Hard beds that were damp. Coverlet had stains on it.

Ok hotel. One night only.
The hotel is ok for one day. Small room. Basic. No kettle for tea or coffee. Beds were small singles. Not good for large people. Basic hotel. Parking is misleading. There is no free self parking. This is wrong to put that there. I had to pay€16 for overnight parking. Staff friendly. Location excellent.

Location could not have been more central for the old city. Staff were amazing!!! So helpful, friendly, funny, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Friendly and cleanly
The staff was extremely friendly, room was clean, and they offered a good breakfast. The room did get a little warm (we were at the front of the hotel), but they provided fans. I would definitely stay again.

What a view!!! You can’t get any better than this. The staff here is wonderful and the breakfast is really good. We will definitely come back again someday.

Location Could Not be Better
Location is key and cannot do better. Great breakfast spread. Rooms are cozy, clean, and minimal, but has all that you need. The staff was great. At times, a bit amusingly irreverent (cheeky), which we found pleasurable.

Great location, right on the main square. Wonderful staff. Great price. No window in the bedroom is not so nice and the window in the bathroom was held closed with tape. But other guests were disgusting coming back in the middle of the night shouting and throwing up...which you can hear through the paper thin walls. Another reason hotels should never take bookings from British groups.

Beautiful room and location!
The hosts were lovely and the location was gorgeous and as central as you could get. The rooms are above a lovely bistro which looks out onto the Markt and the belfry and serves traditional Flemish dishes to enjoy with the view.

Best location one could ever hope for, best staff we had during our entire trip, breakfast was good, room was gorgeous and comfortable. We generally don't choose hotels specifically (we shop mainly by price) but when we come back to Bruges, this is where we'll stay again!!

The hotel is very well located with super friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast was much more then expected. The price was inexpensive for what we got. I would strongly recommend the Central to everyone.

The Hotel Central was such a great start to our trip! The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are great with nice showers. We had great views of the bell tower. The rooms are located above the restaurant. When you check-in you go to the restaurant and they give you a key. The owners and staff are a great group of people. They were very friendly and helped us with anything we needed. I would certainly stay here again when I have a little more time. If you are driving, keep in mind, it may be difficult to get close to the hotel as streets are closed to private vehicles. We managed to drop our luggage close by and I was able to find parking near by at "Biekorf". Very easy walk back to the hotel. The streets are mostly one way, so it can take time driving around.. Great place! Great staff! Loved it! Thanks!!!!

This property was modest/basic at most, conveniently located and required taking steep steps up to our room. It's above a restaurant and we arrived at closing time and were accommodated well.

It was ok but I wouldn’t recommend it
The staff are lovely & super friendly. The location is perfection, right in the heart of the old town, across from the Belfry; it’s in the ideal location to be able to wander around Brugge & explore the very pretty town. I’ve stayed at some hotels I’d consider to be basic but this place takes the cake. In summer / the warmer months, I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here. Our only window was in the bathroom so when one person was using the toilet or in the shower, it was horribly stifling in the room. There was a portable fan in the room but it was awfully loud even on the lowest setting; it didn’t really help in the heat & only caused us disrupted sleep. We ended up changing our travel plans & left a day / night earlier than we had planned. I would not stay here again.

It is right in the middle of everything. No more than a 7 minute walk to everything we wanted to do. The staff treated you like a VIP.

worth it... but in the winter
to be honest... we had 3 issues but we should have known them coz they didnt sell any of this in the advertising... 2 minor problems... no tv and no frigobar 1 major problem but only due a specific condition we faced... there is no air conditioning and we got a 41⁰C record in brugge so we melted with the fan... the location is perfect... I would come back... but in the winter

Great location with great staff
This hotel is in a perfect location. The staff is great! It is a very basic hotel....no tv or phone in the room. The wifi worked great though! There is also no AC (apparently not many places in Brugges have that anyway). There was a fan in the room that helped with that though.

Perfect location, incredible staff.
There are no facilities in the room (ie, tv, coffee, bar fridge etc) but you don’t need it. The staff in the restaurant below treat you like their house guests. Best service ever, amazing people who go above and beyond and make you laugh.
