"Perfect house for our family; two young sons and two dogs! The home was stocked with all kitchen tools, spices, and a coffee station. Every bathroom had all toiletries; toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and makeup cleaner. The back yard was great for our dogs with the privacy fence. The owner was very responsive to our comfort and easy to communicate with. This was easily the best place our family could have stayed at for a first time bringing our dogs to Oak Island."

"We LOVED our stay! Latane was a gracious, personable, and super helpful host. Check in was easy. And she gave us recommendations for ...everything. There were some board games and a great pool table. The couch was super comfortable, large tvs. The bed and pillows very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. The house was clean and very cute. We highly recommend renting the golf cart. We could park it everywhere around the island, including beaches, the lighthouse, and restaurants. It made things super easy. The house has a really great outdoor shower for cleaning off sand. And a great little hot tub. The kitchen is beautiful and clean. The house has many windows and the light coming in is great. Publix grocery store, ice cream, tennis and pickleball courts, and the beach are all within walking distance if you don't have a golf cart. Oak Island is lovely. Southport isn't far away. Thank you for the wonderful stay! "

"Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful view of the ocean, well stocked unit and loved the easy-to-use keypad! Also loved the closet in the garage - we used the beach chairs for sure! "

"The home was beautiful and the location was perfect. The downside of our week long stay was that the beach outside the house was being dredged and there were lights, heavy equipment and noise 24/7. That ruined the atmosphere for sure, but was not Heather's fault and shouldn't affect other renters. House was clean and we loved the layout and all the blankets for snuggling on the big couch in the main downstairs room. "

"Best Vrbo at Oak Island. Our family of four (2 adults, 2 pre-teens) and our dogs stayed here for a 2-night stay. We wanted a clean home near the beach and restaurants, and this was the perfect place.There are 4 bedrooms with king/queen beds as well as 2 sets of bunk beds. The floorplan is very open, so the large kitchen, dining room, and living room are visible to one another. There are two entrances - front and rear, and a very large deck facing the water and a smaller deck facing the street. The home was well-stocked with everything you need, from bathroom to kitchen. If you have little kids, there are games, books, and activities. Plenty of lights, fans, and well-working A/C and heat (we needed both). Super clean and comfy home.The home is dog-friendly. What's unique is the fenced in area - it makes taking the dogs out for a quick potty break easy as there are gates at the top and bottom, so dogs can access it without being leashed. There's also plenty of room for cars, and an outdoor shower and hose to get sand off. It's right across from the ocean, with public access points within a few steps of the home. There's also a pier across the street, as well as a restaurant. A ton of eateries as well as two grocery stores (Publix and Food Lion) are within a 5-minute drive. We wished we could stay longer. This is our new home away from home when we take beach trips. Oak Island is very dog-friendly, you can take dogs to many restaurants and businesses. We'll be back! "
