"First, Caroline (on-site supervisor) couldn’t have been more kind and attentive. The unit was very basic accommodations, like a budget hotel. Specifically, beds are on the lower quality end, to the extent that one of them had to be modified with extra comforters. Bunratty is a small village, but the area is beautiful, with easy motorway access, and the restaurants and service are fantastic. We travelled by car with Bunratty being the central point. "It's a nice little cottage and host/property manager were quite nice as well. We were there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay there a lot. It's a bit far from the sights and from a grocery store (minimum 30 min. drive, IIRC) so plan for that. Also, no wi-fi that we were able to figure out (we just watched stuff we had already downloaded, using an HDMI cable), but there was a television and laundry facilities, so that was great."

"We loved our stay as did the 4 college age children we had with us. It was a close walk to shops, pubs and the Bunratty castle. When I say shops, it was just the two main gift shops, but they were more than just gift shops. The actual VRBO was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable, and we'd definitely consider staying here again."

"We are completely dissatisfied with VRBO. The property they rented us in Limerick, Ireland was occupied! People had been living in it for two months. We were left stranded with absolutely NO support by VRBO. We had to go to a hotel and spend a lot of money until we found a property with another company. This really ruined our vacation in Ireland! Now we just hope we can get our money back!"
