The city center is a mere two-minute stroll away, making it effortless to explore on foot. A standout feature is the secure underground garage, (at a cost of twelve euro a day) which offers direct, private access to every floor, allowing you the freedom to come and go with ease. Coupled with its wonderful food and outstanding overall service, The Strand Hotel is, without a doubt, Ireland's premier choice for an unforgettable and affordable stay. "

"It's a lovely little hotel on a quiet street near a park, a short walk away from lots of great food and drink -- faves include the Copper Room, the Glen Tavern & Freddies, and in the other direction, Bobby Byrne's. Also, as this is No 1 Pery Square, do go see the museum at No 2 Pery Square, so you know some of the history of the area."

"The room was huge, clean, and luxurious. The only problem I had, which the hotel couldn't help with was girls laughing and talking outside our room at the end of the hallway. We only had 3/4 roll of toilet paper in our room, and the weird one, is no outlets next to the bed, so we could plug in phones or the CPAP machine."

"A very nice hotel with great service. There wasn’t any heat when I was there but still very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good. I used Adare Taxi service to and from Shannon airport and they were excellent so I also used them for tours to Cliffs of Moher and the Dingle peninsula. Great tours! "
