"I've stayed at Red Lion near the Portland airport at least once a year since 2006. It's gone through a lot of changes - It's smaller, no longer has a pool, no longer has a restaurant. The room, however, is still excellent and very comfortable, and the staff couldn't be better. The 24-hour shuttle to the airport is wonderful I don't like that there's a charge for parking - it's not particularly great parking, it's just a lot. But all in all, I still choose it, even over the newer hotels around it."

"Nice hotel, great walking area and close to things to do. Only downfall is parking. $52 a day for valet parking, absolutely ridiculous. You have to park down the street in a parking garage. That cost is $24 a day, better but still a pain having to lug your stuff back and forth. I suggest when looking for a hotel in downtown Portland, make sure they have a parking garage on site where you’re not paying a ridiculous amount of money if you’re staying a week +. Or stay a bit further out of downtown. Lesson learned."
