Very quiet and overall great place

Our stay was pretty good we were able to get around to eat and do some other stuff. We rented a UTV and got to ride around on some trails and see a few waterfalls. Definitely worth it. Downtown Bryson and Cherokkee are definitely recommended their food is really good and the ice cream was even better.

Great property!

My husband, brother in law and 7 year old niece stayed for a few days and the cabin could not be more perfect. Plenty of room for all of us, great location to Bryson City where we took a steam train ride and shopped. Plenty of cooking supplies and comfy beds. We even received a phone call to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I recommend this place!!

Mountain Romance

Our first trip to the Smokies, and I was giving my wife a perfect trip!. We loved the Mountain cabin! It had everything needed-Beautiful and Romantic Master, and very relaxing Hot Tub after a very busy day of hiking and all the essentials needed for a great supper. I will recommend this cabin to everyone. One problem we had, is the neighbors dog barks all night till 3 am. I hope they can find a solution to that problem.

Nice cabin. A little close to neighbors. House is located just past the 3rd abandoned car on the left. Beautiful, clean home. Nice big hot tub. No internet. Therefore, no TV or wifi. Had to drive to McDonald's 10 minutes away for wifi. house wS

The cabin itself is beautiful. The location isn’t the best. You don’t get a view of the mountains. Getting to the cabin, there were 3 abandoned cars on the side of the road that were a bit sketchy. The internet was out. So we could not watch any tv. There were no movies that we could watch in the DVD player. And the hot water heater must be on the smaller side because I couldn’t get through a shower without the water going cold. The hot tub was a nice relaxing feature. And it was nice that there were board games to play.

Family Christmas Vaca

Overall, I would totally recommend this cabin and would stay again. The cabin itself was very spacious, a lot bigger than pictures make it appear. The beds were comfortable, but the comforters could use a good wash… other than that, the cabin was well cleaned. The pool table upstairs was fun, however the pockets are broken and every time you shoot a ball in, it goes straight through the pocket and falls onto the hard wood floor which over time as left dings and dents in the floors/stairs - so I would suggest that be fixed. Hot tub was nice and clean but it rained while we were there so we were unable to use it as it was not covered. The wet deck was slippery in the front, so be cautious. Check in/check out instructions were very clear and spot on. Communication was great between email/phone. Internet/WIFI worked well with cell phones but the TVs/Roku were slow. Location was nice in regards to being centralized to Bryson City/Cherokee but I was hoping for a better view - the cabin is surrounded by home owners who are nestled around the cabin, so all you can see is their homes to the front, back and side… so if you want a nice view, this is not the cabin for you.

Family Vacation Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This will be very thorough since the last reviews have been over a year. First, the cabin was very clean and very spacious. The inside is just as pictured. The outside of the cabin has been stained a darker brown not like the picture. Missing rocking chairs on the porch. Just a small patio table, two chairs and one rocker. There is no mountain view from the porch. Could use a little outside cleanup since the porch was very slippery when wet. The cabin is also not succluded and surrounded by a few other homes. Would have liked to know that ahead of time since there are families living on the same street. Two abandoned cars as you are coming up the main road to cabin. The inside of the cabin was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The biggest issue was getting the TV and internet setup. If you are not tech savy you will not get the TV to work. My husband is and we were able to have wifi and use Roku TV. Definitely needs a simple setup especially for older seniors. The master suite was really nice with garden tub and walk in shower. Only had two flat pillows on bed so had to hunt down more. The pool table is not level, pockets are broken, old needs replacing. The queen bed has a broken foot board. The hot tub was very relaxing. We stayed as a family of 4 and a baby and we had a nice vacation. We would stay again only if some changes inside were made.

Quaint Cabin

We liked the hot tub in the late evenings and we also enjoyed the pool table. My only complaint is that the coffee maker was quite small for the 5 adults drinking coffee. Other than that our stay was wonderful. The communication between Yellow Rose was very reliable and we were even granted an early check in.

Minor issue with working the televisions but we are not internet smart. We figured out enough to watch some football ballgames. Very nice location easy to access Bryson City and Cherokee.Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils, master bedroom and bath were comfortable and inviting after a long day of sight seeing. Hot tub was relaxing and much needed after couple of long days to exploring the local areas. Thanks for a great weekend!

Dirt road up steep hill to the house

The TV in Master bedroom was not working but other than that the rental was nice. Also, would have been nice to know in the property description that the house was located on a steep dirt mountain road, single lane. We hauled a trailer and had no problems going up or down in the truck or on the motorcycle.....but the dust and mud were not my favorite.

We come up to the mountains to work very often and have had a great experience with Yellow Rose. There were a few things that could use updating (always seems to be the case) and the pool table was not in good enough shape to play unfortunately. BUT the hot tub was clean and hot, wi-fi was strong and the cabin was cozy. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay here long and had to move to a different cabin for reasons, but great place.

We had to take trash with us upon leaving which should have been included. Need a few board repaired on the deck and pressure washed to remove the mold( which was very slippery in the mornings.

Great Location for a Relaxing Getaway

The cabin was exactly what my family was looking for to celebrate the end of a long, stressful school year. The cabin was open, comfortable, and clean with an easy check-in process. We loved the hot tub and the proximity to great views and Bryson City!

Rental company is great and very kind. Will rent from them again. The neighbors dogs scared our 6 year old but they were nice dogs and nice neighbors.
