kitchen
Your kitchen is appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. We also provide you with all the dishes, utensils and cooking tools you'll need. A gas grill is provided for BBQ connoisseurs (full propane tank included, plus a spare tank).
great room
The great room features large living and dining area with table suitable for seating 8. There is ample additional seating while eating at the 3-person island bar and also on a desk/game-table that is adjacent to the living room. There is also a 4-person bistro table outside in the screened porch.
The rustic-eclectic decor features leather sofa, hardwood floors, stone fireplace (2-sided to be enjoyed by the living room and the master bedroom) and interesting vintage accessories. There is HD satellite TV and home-theater system complete with CD/DVD player (bring your own music or listen to one of the dozens of digital music channels provided by digital satellite) and Bose speakers.
The huge rec room is downstairs and features a 9-foot, slate pool table and lots of extra sleeping. Note, there is also a 2 car garage but access for guests is limited to a small section where the washer/dryer is located.
sleeping accommodations
All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters. Each bed has a pillow-top mattress and luxury, all-cotton linens. Towels are provided for the base number of occupancy plus extras for hot tub use. Linens and towels for guests utilizing the futon(s) for sleeping are provided for when occupancy is greater than the base amount of this cabin, but use of these linens when occupancy doesn't warrant it may result in additional charges as defined on our reservations page.
main floor
This floor has the master bedroom with king bed, pass-through fireplace, private bathroom (shower only, no tub), and direct access to outside deck. There is DirecTV in this room and a walk-in closet.
upstairs floor
This level has an open loft that looks over the great room and shares the magnificent view out the front windows. There is a full futon for additional sleeping in the open loft, too. Adjacent to the loft is a king bedroom with private bath (shower only, no tub) and ample closet space. There's also DirecTV service in this room.
ground floor
This lower level is a huge rec room (9' pool table plus a Foosball table) that also functions to sleep a lot of extra guests (While this is not counted as a third bedroom, the room can sleep up to 7 people in beds on this level). There is a set of built-in queen-sized bunk beds (think cruise-ship style sleeping except we have designed the lower bunk to have full sit-up headroom). The top bunk has ample room, too, but is not for those weary of heights as this level has been raised up as allowed by the very high ceilings in this room. There is also a set of log-style bunk beds that is twin-sized on the top and full-sized on the bottom. These beds are open to the pool table rec area, but this room is private and dark when the drapes are closed. There is a full bathroom on this level and access outside to the side deck with the hot tub and firepit.
**Please be advised that this cabin has bunk beds which are designed to accommodate guests of all ages. For this reason, child safety rails are available in the Watershed Cabins office free of charge.

This house was just about everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. Plenty of activities around the house and surrounding area. For us the proximity to the Cherokee Casino was the highlight of our trip. The only advice I have is to be sure you are ready to drive up some steep roads to reach the house.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the layout is perfect for a large family. Our four teens were very comfortable in the basement setup. The property was very clean and the outside set up with hot tub and fire pit was very nice. If you plan to do much cooking, the aware that the kitchen is sparsely stocked. We had to go to Ingles to purchase aluminum pans for cooking casseroles, etc. The location of the cabin is very central to Bryson City as well as hiking, and outdoor activities, We would stay here again.
House is in dire need of upgrades. Everything is old and worn. Bad smell in basement but permeated through whole house. Very few exterior lights. Parking was a bear. Steep drive up 1-way road. Decks were so uneven and mix matched. Screen porch had furniture we wouldn’t even sit on bc it was mildewed and dirty. Not enough kitchen stuff. Plates silverware etc.

Disappointes
Disappointed in the amount of supplies like toilet paper, towels, coat hangers and other comforts of home. Kitchen had lots of pots pans and dishes but very few other kitchen condiments. Paid for extra firewood which was green and caused extra smoke in a fireplace setting off the smoke alarms. The fireplace needs to be clean. If property owner continues to rent during the winter months they should equip the home for cold weather with pump house heat and a generator
This was perfect for our boating vacation. Close to all activities.

The house is beautiful. It does need updates but overall accommodated my family.
Pros - lots of room - plenty of bathrooms - large kitchen - pool table - beautiful view. Plenty of towels and blankets.
Cons - fireplace needed to be cleaned, we got smoked out the first night and wasn’t able to use the fireplace. Damper was open. We had people that have allergies and The smoke really bothered them. When we first got there we had to wash the pans because they had rust on them. Need new pans. The shelf in the refrigerator kept falling out and leaked water on the floor. The gas stove knobs are mixed up. When you turn on the front (L) the (R) front came on if you turned it to far. The dishwashers bottom self comes out really fast and hits you in the shin if you don’t stop it. The dryer took 3 hours to dry clothes. The downstairs was freezing. There is only a wall unit and wasn’t able to keep up with the cold weather. We had 9 to 12 degrees on a couple of nights we were there. Had to shower upstairs because it was to cold downstairs. Had the heater on 80 and it was 62 at its highest. I know dogs are allowed but the carpets needed to be cleaned. (Not sure the spots are from dogs). There is a dog deposit which such help out with this cost. Big spots on the stairs going downstairs. Plus there was previous dog hairs on the cover of the pool table. Remember, people with allergies and just a little dog or cat hair can cause problems. There was also stains on the comforters upstairs. Again, with the cost of rental these should be taken care of. Didn’t have any cleaning supplies so bought our own. There was cobwebs and dust on the ceiling fans.
Yes, the location and house are beautiful but a little attention is needed for this rental.

one of the best cabins I've ever been to
It was really a good experience. Extraordinary balcony view in the day and a fire place to chill in the night. Everybody loved the place after two nights of stay.
