kitchen
Your kitchen is appointed with granite countertops, all new, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. We also provide you with all the dishes, utensils and cooking tools you'll need. A gas grill is provided for BBQ connoisseurs (full propane tank included).
great room
The great room features large living and dining area with table suitable for seating 8. The modern-rustic decor features leather sofa/loveseat, hardwood floors, stone fireplace and log-wall interiors. There is additional common space in the lower level where a queen futon functions as a sofa to watch tv or play pool. (Please note: the foosball table in the picture has been removed.)
sleeping accommodations
All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters. Each bed has a pillow-top mattress and luxury, all-cotton linens. Ralph Lauren bath towels are provided for the base number of occupancy with additional towels for hot tub use. Linens and towels for guests utilizing the futon(s) for sleeping are provided for when occupancy is greater than the base amount of this cabin, but use of these linens when occupancy doesn't warrant it may result in additional charges as defined on our reservations page.
main floor
The main floor bedroom is just outside the main shared bathroom. It features a king size bed and access outside on to the deck. A TV in this room (no satellite connection) has its own DVD player for watching movies.
ground floor
The basement level functions as one of the four bedrooms. Although the entire floor is open as one large area, there are 3 sets of built-in twin bunks that provide sleeping for 6. Even adults might enjoy this comfort as we have lowered the bottom bunks so grown-ups can sit upright and designed the units with no footboard so even tall people won't be kicking a rail. The full bathroom has a built-in tub/shower unit, and the entire room is full-daylight with huge fixed glass windows and a sliding glass door for lots of light and direct access to the outside.
**Please be advised that this cabin has bunk beds which are designed to accommodate guests of all ages. For this reason, the bunk beds do not include the typical safety rails which are included on children's bunk beds. If you plan to have young children use these beds, please contact our office and follow the prompts for Customer Service or After Hours help if calling later than 5:00 pm. We will be happy to provide temporary rails for your child's safety.**
loft floor
There are 2 private bedrooms up on the loft level. Each has a queen bed and its own private full bathroom. Each also has a private covered balcony. One of the bedrooms provides additional sleeping on a full-sized log futon. Each bedroom also has a TV with satellite service and a DVD player.

It was just okay
The property and and furnishing needs updating. The furniture and decor is well worn and mold/moss growing on the outside furniture and deck.
It did not present as "luxury" used in the ad.
Over all it was good for a group of 10, 6 adults & 4 children. It was great for the four kids, 9, 10, 11, 12, Bunk beds, pool table and tv all in one room. The main level was good area for adults to socialize. The dining room table was large enough for everyone to eat at the same table. There was some minor issues with water pressure. It rained a lot during our week stay so if I sound a bit negative it has very little to do with the property. All my dealings with the property management was very pleasant. I did not go to any of property common areas but the family members that did visit them seemed to enjoy the areas. I would consider using this property again if we were to go to that area again.
Wonderful cabin with a few exceptions….We came the coldest days of the year. Water/Dryer did not work. Heat was not very well regulated with the gas logs running which was needed with the 6 degree weather. Hot water heater was not big enough for the amount of people in the cabin. Water issues due to freezing weather. Very nice cabin, but needs a few updates. We had a wonderful Christmas’s. Sure wish the weather was warmer. WaterShed Properties was easy to work with and updated us on the dryer and water issues.
We visited Bryson City for the polar express train ride. We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. The bunk room was a big hit among the cousin contingent! Well stocked, clean and roomy enough for our party of 10. The kids especially loved “the yard” where they could play and hang out. Camp fire, bocce ball, green space with a fantastic view. We’ll be back!
The house is generally nice; needs a good cleaning; living room furniture needs to be replaced; bedrooms comfortable; bunk beds great but need additional Hester on basement for warmth; deck railings shaky; overall house is okay; we had a great time hit house needs some work; great neighborhood
Just a wonderful experience. The cabin was great and we really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. Swain County is one of the most beautiful areas I have been to. I highly recommend this cabin for a great get away for the weekend or an extended vacation stay.
The property was very spacious an laid out great. It was a chore to get into due to the sharp turn into the driveway and no number on the post. Once we were there, everything was great. Loved the indoor & outdoor fireplaces. Did not use the hot tub. Having screened in porches were a nice bonus. Carpets upstairs need a good cleaning. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
We had a family of 14 and were very pleased that there was something to do for all age groups. The common area at the top of the hill (The Yard) was pretty neat and the view from up there was beautiful. The house had all the amenities needed. The terrain was very steep, but did not cause any issues. The hiking trails would be for more seasoned hikers and was not suitable for bringing our toddlers. The groundskeepers were very friendly. I have recommended this property to several friends.
The property was nice. It was quiet and relaxing. Everything we needed was supplied. Towels, plenty of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and pots and pans. Loved the convenience of having a full bathroom in each of the loft rooms and in the downstairs bunkbed room. We were so glad this was a dog friendly rental because we really hate to go on vacation without them as they are a part of our family. The children loved the tee pee and play area in the woods, by the house and the hiking trails throughout the area. It's a short drive to Bryson City in case you need to go to the grocery store or want to go out to eat. The only negative we can say about the house is the inside could use a good cleaning from top to bottom. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house and area. We would definitely stay there again.
We had 12 people, 6 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of space, clean and everything included was in great working order. Kids had a awesome time with the downstairs rooms with the bunk beds and pool table!
Wonderful Experience For A Fitting Start To A New Year
Cabin was beautiful, spacious, clean and cozy. Had plenty of accommodations for 3 families and friends a total of 15 people. Only negative we experienced was work was being done and we had 1.5 days where we had did not have free access to water and overall internet was poor but that is a given with the area you are located. I would highly recommend to other friends and family any time to come to these cabins and this area.
We had a great time at the cabin with no complaints about the property!! Bryson City, along with every other place in the US, is struggling to get restaurant workers so try to be patient and eat early!

Nice cabin but could use upgrades
Steep incline to cabin. Plenty of parking space which was nice. It could use appliance upgrades in kitchen and laundry area. Lots of ants and stink bugs but it is in the middle of the woods. Cabin has plenty of room for our family of 10. We cooked every night and found every pot or pan we needed plus used the outdoor grill. The outside fireplace was our absolute favorite in the evenings and the kids really enjoyed the hot tub. Overall it was a positive experience although a bit overpriced for the age of it.
We had a party of 6 plus a dog who stayed for a long weekend. We loved the location of the cabin. The hiking trails and waterfall were worth the stay on their own. Our kids had a blast on the bunk beds and used the downstairs as their own getaway. Only downside was the lack of privacy in the upstairs bedrooms. Both doors were uncovered, meaning you had to change in the restroom if you wanted privacy. The hot tub was also cloudy but the kids didn’t seem to mind. Overall would stay there again as my family said it was their best family vacation ever!
