Nice condo

We had communication problems to start, but got it resolved. The unit was very modern and clean - however the area was very noisy with construction all around and the highway nearby.

Disappointed with VRBO and property management

Unfortunately we were unable to lock our room due to there being no keys and the electronic lock wasn’t able to be reprogrammed. We had several discussions with the property manager and the property owner but they were not willing to due anything to secure our room. We literally propped a chair up against the door for our security. The property advertises a tropical courtyard with a pool and bbq area. There weren’t either of these nor was there the fitness facility which was also in the listing. The advertised rooftop infinity pool was lovely, the condo was adequately stocked and the location was good for walking to restaurants, bars and the beach..This appears to be the first review for the property so I sincerely hope the owner edits the listing to properly describe the listing amenities as they truly are, and obviously fixes the lock situation. We sent a message requesting a late check out and did not get a response. This was my first time renting through VRBO and I can say that I am very disappointed in the lack of effort on their part to make this experience better for us.

To start out with I received a message saying they would send the entry code at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, November 12th the day we arrived. We never got the code until 5:30 pm so this was very frustrating since we had arrived in Bucerias at 12:00 noon. The condo itself was very nice but the location was a lot farther away from Centro and the bars and restaurants than we were told so this was frustrating as well. We did enjoy our time but did not enjoy the far walk to everything. Also the highway is not far away and very noisy all night long.

Disappointing !

No safe for valuables. Front door smart lock unable to lock front door so had to take valuables when leaving. No hot water for first 3 days then hot wstr turning to cold water then back to hot. Ureliable.
