Bahía de Banderas Holidays

We had a nice stay. We did have hurricane rachel make a visit while we were there and they had to close the pools, but to accommodate they opened the hotel adjacent to them. So we were able to get experience both entertainment and pool experience. I must say the music at this hotel and entertainment was lacking compared to the other, but the outdoor bathrooms at this hotel were 10/10 where the other definitely needed upgrades. Before the hurricane came we were without hot water two nights in a row. Maintenance came and fixed it each time. The main pool needs updating. The hand railing is loose and some tiles missing. The food was 8/10 and the drinks were 10/10. The service was exceptional. Everyone was ready to help and felt welcoming. I do wish they had a store on site for little things, ie sunscreen, meds, etc. but just down the street there was a pharmacy to purchase those items. I also wish they had more options at their 24/7 eatery. Like chips, soda, candies, ice cream and such. Their room service has specific food items and specific times. So if you want a pizza before night service you’re not going to get it (just an example). The hotel is close to the airport and downtown area which is definitely convenient.

Beautiful stay

Stayed at the hotel multiple times in the past. Felt a significant decline in service. Check-in process was horrible. Did not seem attentive and did not want to make our stay feel special, which was odd because in the past the hotel used to go above and beyond. Food, resturant staff, poolside service were all good. Issue was with checking in and accommodation. Also horrible experience with concierge trying to force us into a timeshare tour and then try to take away the offer they promised us
