The staff were lovely, very attentive and friendly. It was really busy when we arrived and had we wanted a table in the restaurant we wouldn't have got one, they did fit us in for dinner. It might be sensible to book a table at the same time as booking the room next time, but it was a very pleasant place to stay. Everything you needed was there. Most of all though, it's the staff that made it such a lovely place to stay. Thank you!

Friendly staff
Staff were very friendly and welcoming from point of entry to leaving. Room wise, the bed was lumpy and room too hot, despite turning down the radiator. We were in a room facing the road, wish I'd brought my earplugs with me. I'm a light sleeper so the road noise unfortunately kept me awake.

Ryan & Kirsty with their team gave us impressive service & excellent food during our 4 night stay. The Inn is obviously very popular because at times they were extremely busy. Special mention for Anna for giving us such friendly, efficient service at breakfast. We shall really miss her smiling face and marvellous avocado, salmon & egg dishes. Do not stay here it was traumatic
After experiencing an allergic response to something in the accommodation we were thrown out without any assistance. There was no compassion. No offer to help find alternate accommodation even though it was getting late. It was a long drive home with a very poorly passenger. The treatment we received at this hotel was appalling and dehumanising. It was a good display of a business trying to protect it's own interests regardless of what was happening. I would not wish it for anyone, or want it to happen to anyone else, ever. I can only recommend to stay away.

Stayed here because of convenience of location. Would not book again. Very VERY uncomfortable bed, noisy fire doors in corridor disrupted sleep and breakfast service was pretty poor.

Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel and very friendly staff, clean, tidy and felt safe. We were made to feel welcome by the management and all the servers/bar staff. Ll do an excellent job. Nothing too much trouble. I was very impressed by the hotel.

Quite a nice stay
The Service was good. Room was clean and comfortable. The beer was nice but the Red wine I had was corked. The food was quite nice but was let down by not having certain things on the menu etc.

The overall property was lovely but due to lack of staff ,attention to detail was missing in the room & in the dinning room. And better double glazing would deaden the road noise. But we could not fault the staff friendliness.

Nice breakfast and check in but.......
Lovely check in and breakfast, but.... Noisiest floorboards in the history of people using floorboards, good muzak in the bar area below my room but there was a speaker Right under the bed by about a foot which didnt turn off until nearly 12, at which time I found out that the tv in the next room goes really loud and the walls see quite thin. Two single beds pushed together is Not a double, whichever way you look at it, especially when one of them has knackered springs halfway down that jab you in the kidneys all night.

Enjoyable stay
The staff were very friendly and most helpful. During our stay at the hotel there was an outbreak of covid among the staff but the few staff that were left all rallied round, deep clean the restaurant and bar area and kept things running. The food was excellent and there was a large choice for breakfast.

The provision for Gluten free diets in the restaurant area for main meals needed improvement. Also I ordered a Beef Pie which was sadly lacking in meat; this was not a Gluten free option

Great and convenient stay
Lovely clean room. Ideally situated and convenient for business travel. Road a bit noisy and noise from downstairs bar apparent but didnt disturb my sleep. Food was good and service excellent.

Not value for money!
Very noisy as windows old & next to road. Hair in sink, teacup stained, sink tap not attached to sink, shower intermittent heat, no hand soap on bathroom even after asking. Food value for money but long waits.
